I have been 1yr and 5mths out of surgery and im an going through the same thing. My hair has never been this thin. It makes me want to cry. Ive been taking biotin and have not seen any difference. HELP!!!

So far ive tried the Dr Reys (not tight enough, Spanks (makes me look square) And i have two others that i cant remember the brand but they feel like bullet proof vests. I can barely breath in them.

Ok so i think this may be a first on here. But didn't know where else to ask but here. So i have lost a total of 60lbs. Im so happy!!! But the loose skin in my midsection is TERRIBLE and have to wear some sort of body shaper everyday. i cant find anything that is good or comfortable. Do any of you have any recommendations or having the same issues Thanks Vicky

Thanks everyone. In way i feel a little better that im not alone in this. I have an appt scheduled with my dr for this friday. Im going to ask her to unfill an fill me to 10cc. see how that works.

Thanks Gail for your response. Ive been so depressed about it today my husband convinced me to make an appt with my dr this week. Sometimes I feel embarressed that i go in to her office so much and that I still need fills for restriction. I had my surgery jan 26 2010 my dr thank goodness is very aggressive with fills. This last one i got i did feel restriction for like a week and now its gone. Its pretty much what happens with every fill. Im going this week and see what she says. Thanks again. :cursing:

Ok so im feeling really discouraged. I have 9.25cc in my 14cc band and was still able to eat steak today. I had to stop myself or else I would have ate the whole thing. I can still eat bread, fries and nuts. My weightloss is coming off slow. I never feel full. Sometimes if i over eat i do feel a little sore. When i feel like this i stick to liquids/protein shakes until i feel i can eat again which is usually later during the day. I want to know when the heck am i going to feel like i cant eat anymore. Im at a loss. I feel like I have alot in my band right now for me to be eating the way I am.

ok so it will be a week since i got my second fill. I now have 5 cc in a 10cc band. I do have restriction in the morning and usually have a protein shake...but by lunch and dinner i feel like im eating way more than a cup of food. Not as much as i use to eat but definitely not a cup. Is this normal? I got my surgery Jan 26 2010. I thought 5 cc was alot to have already.

Ok so got my first fill yesterday. 3cc in a 10cc band. Nothing in at surgery. I did liquids all day yesterday and all day today. Tonight i get to eat soft foods. I AM STARVING!!!! When am i suppose to feel restriction. When i start eating the soft foods tonight? Cause i sure dont feel any right now. Im ready to eat my house.

Hi all. I was banded on Jan 26,2010. I am 1mth post op. I start real food today. All together I have lost like 24lbs but this morning i weighed myself and saw that i gain a 1lb. Last week I only lost 2oz. Im starting to feel discouraged. Everyone kept saying that the weight would just fall off of me. UH YEA that hasn't bee the case at all. Im still counting calories, journaling and I'm hungry. I exercise 2-3 times a week. (I have a 1yr old so its so hard but i try and get it in) I'm also a diabetic. My sugars were great and then today I woke up with fasting sugar of 130??? I don't get it. Today I'm having one of those days where I'm asking myself. Why the hell did I do this for? Does it even work??? I guess I just needed to vent.

Thank you all for your replies. I'm with you Dawn I just want to feel normal again too. I like dirty martini's myself. Not sure if that is safe. i guess i'll know tonight.

Ok so i will be 4 weeks post op on Tues i had my surgery jan 26. Tomorrow I am going out with my hubby and friends for dinner and drinks. Is it too soon to have 1 alcohol beverage? What is safe to have?

Hi all. Im new to the forum. I am 2 weeks post op. I have a question. What can happen if you drink while you eat? This is something im having such a hard time with. Im always so use to sipping water or sf ice tea while i eat. I cant seem to break my habit. Any suggestions?

I am feeling just like you also. I was band the day after you. I dont want to be negative and trying my best to stay positive. Im tired of my liquids already and feel hungry. I start mushies on wed. I dont think Ill make it. LOL Also a question for the veterans on this post. How do you paste your weight trackers to show on your messages?? I cant figure it out. Sorry for the questions Im new here. LOL
