I had my lapband surgery June 2009.  It was not a good experience for me. Maybe being older had something to do with it. I was very ill from the anesthesia and then from the pain medication. I was in a zombie state with the medication.  They had to give me more meds. to counter act the reaction I had gotten.  A few weeks later, I was getting weaker and weaker. I was hospitalized 2 days for dehydration. Never did my doctor contact me. I have only seen him one time during this entire procedure, from beginning to end. I am doing better now but I have so many questions and his nurse, the doctor's wife) got extremely annoyed with me because I took up too much of her time, when she could of seen 2 patients in that time.  Now I don't want to ask questions and still have so many. I'm thinking of trying to change doctors, if possible, at this point in time.
