Hello everyone, I am new to the group and have a couple of questions, hoping you can help. I had my procedure in 04, but didn't have a reduction until late 05. I started losing my hair shortly after the operation. Can you relate?:nervous

Hello all, I still have a tough time of keeping, even small bites down. I started at 238 lbs. with hypertension, diabetes, fibromyalgia, osteo arthritis, and other problems related to obesity. I have lost only 40 lbs so far. Started 9 months ago. Donalee

Hello Photonut... A reduction... a fill ... or restriction. My doctor calls it a reduction. I have had 4 so far, in Dallas, TX. Dr. Provost. How long has it been thin (hair I mean)? Donalee

Maybe I am not getting enough protein... maybe soy drinks would be good. Thank you for the info. donalee

Reduction is what my doctor calls, injecting solution into the band to tighten it. donalee

Reduction is when they inject solution to close up the band, making it harder to eat as much. donalee:)
