    Surgery Date For October

Its been a while since I've been on this site, however I am doing well, I had my first fill on Dec 6 and all is well. I really don't feel any restrictions however I stick to the 4 ounces of food per eating and only eat 3 meals along with protein and plenty of water, I am 2 1/2 monts post-op and have loss a total of 43 1lbs, I feel so much better. Because of my work schedule it hard to get to the gym, but I do plenty of walking at work, work in a hospital, I have a new schedule at work and will be able to do 2 days a wks at the gym. I am schedule for a 2nd band fill the end of this month, the first one was 5cc. So glad I had the band surgery

    Surgery Date For October

It's been almost a month for me, and I can't believe how great things are going. On day of my surgery I weighed 279 (oct 21) today I weigh 249 lbs. I feel a lot better. I am on soft puree foods, I go for my first band fill on Dec 2. I felt so wonderful when my husband noticed the weight loss. Co-worker have notice also. I really don't feel hungery, which is good. I am starting the gym next week, I've just been doing a lot of walking. I have been to 92) functions where there is plenty of food and I have survived lol. I am still cooking full course meals for my husband while I put my jello or mashed up vegs on my plate. So how are things going with you? How are you coming along with the liquid or on you on soft yet. Email me and let me know
  6. Hi, I was banded on the 21st of oct. Still on liquids until Nov 5, I am still loosing the weight. I weight 279, the week before surgery, and I had started my liquid diet on my own, and today I weigh at work on a accurate scale and weight 259. I have no restrictions, I move around alot, and I can honestly said I've only been hungry twice. I've been to 2 functions where I was surrounded by food, I had my jello, and water with me. I guess it depends on the person....good luck and don't be discourage....remember lap band doesnt work as fast as gastric.

    Surgery Date For October

I am doing my count down...surgery date is Wednesday, Oct 21 , tomorrow is my last day of work...I am so excited and a little nervous which I thing is normal for any surgery.
  12. Hello all , I am getting nervous, but I am excited. My surgery date is 10/21 , so I am in the count down mode. I didn't have to do the pre liquid diet, I just have to do all liquids the day before surgery. However I started to modify my eating pattern about a week ago...eat applesauce yogart, plenty of crystal light, and jello. I am so ready for this life change procedure. I know that there is a lot that I must do on my part in order to make this surgery successful and I am willing to do all that's neccessary so that I can be healthier. So do all Oct banders best wishes.
  13. My surgery date is Oct 21, my doctor does not require any pre-op diet neither. However I have been cutting back on my own. New week I am going to do strictly liquids jello's broths , I am so excited
