I am now two years out from having Realize Band surgery - and I am a new and improved verision of ME! I love my new life!

I used to wear a size 26-28...I am now happily wearing a size large shirt and 14/16 jeans (depending on the brand) - and clothes shopping is no longer a chore for me! It's a challenge - LOL - to see how much I can fit in my cart! I love to try on clothes - all regular stores, regular brands, and no more shopping in the PLUS sized department for me (altho I will say that I have a hard time NOT going there - it's habit)

I eat, and I eat well. I can find something on any menu when out with friends and family, and I have decided that my band does NOT restrict my diet, just how much I eat.

Life is good - there is always going to be something that comes up that you can think of as either a roadblock or a challenge - I prefer a challenge, and nothing is going to stop me from living my life as a normal size person.
