I have been big most of my life. I got married last year and want to start a family. But then my doctor told me that if i want to have kids i would have to lose weight. I have tried weight watchers off and on for 5 years and i could lose the weight then gain it right back. So i decided to do something for myself and i know a few people that got the lapband done so i talked with my husband and now i am in the process of gettting it done. My surgery date is set for October 20,2009
