2 years has passed since you registered at LapBandTalk! Happy 2nd Anniversary dewberry!

Hi dewberry, I just read your questions on the sep 09 thread. Some of my weight loss is pre-band on the 6 mo program. I dont know why it has been so quick for me, I have never even lost 20 lbs. I eat 5-6 small meals a day and am very careful of my portions. My doc would like for me to eat 3 meals, but I dont.
I have an auto immune disease and my whole left side (where my port is) is very hard. I feel like someone is pulling under my ribs on that side.
Hope you are doing well. Be blessed.

Hi Shmac!
Sorry I only just read you message from January,You must think I am some sort of nice person!
Anyway I have lost a grand total of 26.6kg not to bad but had a bit of a dissapointment this month only .5kg but I did lose 4cm from my waist and 4cm from my hips.I don't weigh myself at home I wait until I go see my doctor and only use there scales but i really believe in measuring it is more accurate like you said the scales can fluctuate so much in one day....just have a glass of water and something to eat and it will read different...so that's why I do it my way.
I cant believe you only got your first fill in January I was getting one each month and probably will again next month....and what happened over your christmas to put you off track????
I had a great break sitting by the ocean breathing in all that salt air I just loved it loads of fun in the sun very relaxing. How was your trip back home back to the dust and dirt loll.
anyway keep up your good work chat soon.Dewy

hey you!!! glad to her you're doing well I have had a few probs as you know, but after getting back from 4 weeks over east I finally got my first fill yesterday morning. I have maintained my original loss of 13kg during my dramas, so back on the band wagon now.
I shouted myself a new set of (good) bathroom scales too! Cost $120 from orbit fitness. Tried my old bathroom scales the other day, got on 3 times to record 3 different weights (then I do the average)... and all three times they were different weights....(I'm talking like 10kg differences here!!!!!) I thought 'stuff that, what a mood breaker' - I needed a set that would keep me going on a good path, not weighing in 10kg heavier a week later or something!!! lol
How was your Christmas and New Year?
