:biggrin: Today I went to the Doctors to be filled... I got on the scale and DAMN... I gained 3 pounds. My mouth dropped and I was so upset. All the way home I was upset. It might not be a lot, but to me it is. Thanksgiving did me in.... 3 pounds.... WOW!!!!! :wink2:

Girl, I no what your talking about... I've had my 4th fill and still don't feel the restriction. My doctor told me that some people have restriction, just by having the band on, without being filled. Some need to be filled 1, 2, 3, 4, or even 7 times to feel the restriction. I feel no restrictions at all. I'm being patient, so be patient also... It will come... Don't worry!!!!!!

I've recieved my 3rd fill, I think I'm doing good. It seems like every month I loose about 4-5 pounds. I want to do better than that. I want to loose 19lbs in 3wks. I no that may seem crazy, but I'm going to try. My 1st target weight is 300lbs. And I am 19lbs from that. Am I pushing myself too hard?????

This might sound crazy but, my man friend I've been with for 9+ years. Says, if I loose too much weight, he will leave me. What is the problem with this. Just because I want to look better and feel better about myself. Why do men think that we will change. I've talked to several lap band women about this and almost half say their men say the same-thing.... Whats up with this?.... :biggrin:

I received my 2nd fill on Tuesday the 13th. I felt the restriction, but now 4 days later I don't feel it. I talked to my doctor and she told me that I should eat my meats first and than my food, because the meat will full you up faster. Is that True?..... Maybe I'm not eating enough meat to make me full.. :wink2:

congratulation on your band, I was banded August 19, 2009. After surgery I was in pain too. I couldn't lay down either. What I would do is prop up all the pillows behind me and sleep that way. I couldn't lay down on my back for at-least 4days. I also had a lot of stomach gas. the Tylenol with codeine worked, but it always put me to sleep, within 3days I stopped taking it. I didn't want to sleep all the time. -

I was--am the sme way. at my post op I lost 17lbs, but now I'm 2months out and I think the same way you do. But I have to remember that everyone is different. Just remember that everyone is different.

Hi, I was banded on August 19 and everything went so smooth. I was really nervous and scared. I was trying not to think bad thoughts and made it through. Dr. Wynn my surgeon did a very good job. I arrived at Christian Hospital at 8am and scheduled for surgery and 10. One day stay and out by 3pm the next day. Had my 2wk appointments and other appointments before I left the hospital. GOOD JOB CHRIAS TEAM..... -

Hi there, I would love to be your friend. I had my surgery August 19. And trust me, when I say its life changing. But in a good way. I hope to loose 145lbs. my starting weight was 354. I have lost 37lbs so far. I wish you all the best and good things comes to those who wait....
