2 month check-up and weight loss
mushsbat replied to Claudean's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
TOOT TOOT! you go girl! -
Exactly, I guess I'm used to unwinding with something. Be it with food or with alcohol. I will have to learn a new way I'm just haven't found it yet.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have tried buying a small amount so that I go longer in between. This seems to help with the frequency. I'm happy to hear I'm not alone with this.

Thank you so much for your response! I also have a brother in the same boat. It is on both sides of my family. I guess not having food to rely on has brought this to a head. I have read a few post thanks to your suggestion. I hope the best for your family. I was a bit scared to post on here about this because some members expect you to follow dr's orders strictly and on this issue I am having a hard time.

Am I the only one not happy with my surgeon's office
mushsbat replied to dillon1205's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
im so glad i didn't see this post before i went there..i love love love dr enochs and his office. yes i did have to wait a day or so for a return call but i was informed of every move they were making. i personally feel like they return the most urgent calls first. i had a problem with my gp giving paper work and angelica helped me to worry them until they gave it up. after my surgery i had an allergic reaction and left a message for the nurse to call me back. it was late when i called and i received a return call at 6:45 at night to help me. it took me 3 months to get my paperwork done and of no fault of theirs. they were there with me every step of the way. i will be going for a checkup in 2 days and i hope nothing changes for me. good luck to you on this journey we have all taken on. -
How long did it take to get approved by BCBS?
mushsbat replied to jessress87's topic in Insurance & Financing
I have BCBS NC and it took less than a day. After all the preop test were done and they had the results the dr's office told me one afternoon it was being sent in and by the next morning I was approved. From what I've read this is atypical. Good luck to you! -
I have read prob every thread on here and finally I find y'all! I was banded on 12/16 and have my first appt 1/5 but I don't think it is for a fill. I do fine most of the day then late afternoon/early evening I am starving. I didn't feel hungry until this week. I can't wait for a fill. I lost 15 pounds almost instantly but stopped this week. I have also been so tired. I got passed the 3 hour naps and returned to work but this is the latest I've been up since the surgery(10pm). I hope it gets better for all of us.
