I have been really good! I stopped losing the last three months and finally went in for a fill on Monday. I lost a total of 145 lbs in about 10 months. I will need to upload some pics soon! I hope to lose another 30 lbs or so to reach my goal!

So, I have lost 145 lbs and I am 13 months post op. I finally had my very first fill on Monday! I'm back on liquids and I forgot how much it sucked! Let's hope I can get off these last 30 lbs

Thank you for the pic comments. I have followed a diet that consists of between 900-1200 calories/day and I work out 5x/week. I just made a huge committment to a healthy lifestyle and it is paying off! I am not quite as strict as I was before, but I am still losing slowly. I have about 30 pounds more to go to hit my goal weight! Let me know if you have any questions! I wish you the best of luck

Thank you for the pic comment! I am excited for you to get started in your journey too. I looked at people who have had the success that I have had when I first started the journey as inspiration. I am humbled by all of the nice things people say because I always hoped, but always had a little doubt that I would be as successful as I have been. I am proof though if you do what you are supposed to do, you will be a big success. Keep in touch!

Hello! Thanks for the pic comment. During my first 6 months I lost over 100 lbs. I hit it pretty hard and really tried to follow all of the directions from my surgeon. I got into exercising 5-6 times a week too. The exercise is amazing for both mental and physical well being Good luck!!!

Hello gorgeous! I stayed focused by focusing on the weight that I was losing and how wonderful I was feeling. I feel amazing and I absolutely love exercising now. I can run over a mile now without any trouble. I couldn't run literally 20 seconds before. I work out about 5 times a week but I just started by walking 2-3 miles/day. If you add hills, you will get a better work out. Seriously, if you watch your caloric intake and do some extra exercise the pounds will come off. Don't let your head get in the way and have you eat when you aren't hungry. The band will make it so you aren't anywhere as hungry as you are now. Trust your decision. You will do wonderfully

Thanks for the pic comment! I have found that counting the calories of the healthy food that I eat and exercise have kept me going. I am kind of stuck now and I am considering a fill. But, I continue to exercise and that is so motivating and I feel so great after doing it. It is just very hard to get started and to get off the majority of the excess weight that can hold you back from exercise.

Hello! The extra skin is just one of those side effects of the weight loss. I am able to hide it under clothes and it isn't that bad. I wouldn't trade the change from the excess fat for the loose skin for anything! I just figure that once I get to my goal weight that I will investigate getting it removed if necessary...it may not be

I feel like I dont have restriction right now either. I did feel good restriction though for the first 6 months or so. I feel like will power is definitely like 95% of the battle. The band can only taKe you so far, you have to have that committment. I have just followed the instructions of the bariatric center the best that I can.no one is perfect! And I exercise 5x/week. I also make sure to drink a lot of water and crystal light. Now, that my weight loss has slowed down A LOT, I have realized that this is a life long process and I need to just make all of these healthy habits part of who I am for the rest of my life. I had all of these goals of when I was going to hit my goal weight, and now my weight loss is painfully slow! So, I go on how I feel and how much better I like looking at myself in the mirror!
