Theresa I will for sure keep intouch and we can go through the days after together. I totally agree with the build up being the most nerve racking. I find that this week to be the worst as the date fastly approaches. Trying to fit in a few old favourite foods in before the big day that I know I will probably never eat again. But looking forward to a new way of living and all the good things to come. Talk with you soon Good luck -

Well I am having surgery June 10th and I am excited to have it done but a little scared as well. I am glad to hear you all are doing so well after your surgery. Did you have to stay overnight? I will be going home the same day as the surgery if all goes according to plan...fingers crossed. I am just so happy to be finally getting this done and to be able to start a new me. -
Hi everyone, I went to my Dr. regarding having the band surgery and he was not all that supportive. I found it to be rather depressing. He did not believe it works. I told him that I have seen on the website that it does work. Anyways he told me to walk up the Mountain in our town everyday and diet. Nice! I am still going to go ahead with the surgery, I think he is just old school. Still trying to decide which surgeon to see. (I live on Vancouver Island). Cheers

I had my surgery in Fresno, Ca with Dr. Higa. I am 100% happy with my results! Good luck!

Hi, I am new to this and seeking information on whether to be banded in Mexico or BC. Have any of you been banded in Mexico and if so where, by who, and for how much? Those of you who had it done in BC who was your Dr. and how much and did you like him? thank you

Hi I am currently trying to decide if I should go to Mexico or stay in Canada for my surgery. Could anyone tell me their experience with going to Mexico, cost, dr. accommodations and such? I was also wondering for those of you who had their surgery in BC who you would recommend and the costs for those dr.s? I live on Vancouver Island. thank you:smile2:
