I had restriction up to my first fill. Now I do have a little more. My biggest probles is the chewing and slowing down when I eat.

I would not have been so stressed about the surgery, It was not bad at all !

If I could go to the TLBC support meetings, I would be there, but since that is not possible, Weight watchers gives me some structure. Besides I like the stickers ! I do work with 5 year olds haha

I paid $16,000 at TLBC and it was the best thing I have ever done. I am only two months out. I love it.

I go to weight watchers. I like it, I need a group meeting every week. I have lost 85 lbs with then before. I have not told them about the band, but I was going before I was banded. I go with a group of women from work and then we go for coffee.

What conference ? On Tuesday when I was in Toronto it was a lovely day, a little rain , but not bad.Fly back to Thunder bay and I am in winter hell !!! I do feel restriction as well. My problem is the chewing and eating slow. When I was there on Tuesday, they told me to drink lots of Water all day up until you eat . That may help me get used to the little sips. Got to work on that !

I think I wasmore afraid on the unknown. One woman had a fill the day before and was fine then the next day could not keep down water ! Why does that happen ? That scared me as I was flying back the same day adn could not return until April 18th. I would have loved to stay another night in Toronto. If I would miss work the next day I would have stayed the whole day !

Well I survived the first fill, It really was not bad at all ! I was given 5cc. I was not able to keep down the water sooooo they took out 1cc. Much better. The taking out was much more painful then the putting in ! My next apt is in two weeks

My apt is tomorrow , first fill, what can I expect ? I am going to TLBC. I am a little scared.

I have not heard anything, but I really have not been on this site much with my trip to Egypt and our show. I really feel out of the loop ! I have a lot of reading to catch up with you guys

Because I had an infection , was on two rounds of meds, and soooo badly want this to work, I was stressing seeing this one inch stitch stick out of my body. We were in cairo at the time and my dance teacher said "oh we should go to a doctor" I had no intension of doing that until It was really recessary. I wasited until I was back in Toronto. I did not even know that iIhad a stitch to come out ! :omg:

Well I never really had a follow up. They called to see how things were going and then a day later I went back to Thunder bay. They did call me at home to see how things were going. On my way back from Egypt I stopped at the clinic to show them my stitch. They took it out. I do not have my first fill until Tuesday. Very excited about that ! What is so weird is that I can feel it !

Cool, If you have nothing to do Staurday march 31 , come to the Finlandia Hall and see our show. Let me know and I will leave 2 tickets at the door for you. My first fill is coming up at TLBC. They told me it is a two hour apt. What should I expect ? Does it hurt ? Who does it? I had a stitch poking out, what is with that ? I did not even know that I had any stitches !

Congrats on your decision Dave, The time will come so fast and soon you will be on the other side. I was banded at TLBC , they were great !

Well I am back ! I had the most amazing time. Words can not express the emotions I have about Egypt ! I will go back.

I will be in Toronto on Sat the 24th. We leave that day on our trip. Where is Whiby ? I am sure that I would not be able to come but maybe another time .

Well two days to Egypt and I gave made my Feb goal of ten pounds !
