My surgery was on Friday and I was back to work on Monday. I was still a bit sore but not too bad. I also did not want anyone to know that I was having anything done, so one sick no one thinks twice.

This was my 2nd fill. the first they put in 5cc and tookout 1cc. The 2nd fill, they put in 2 cc and took out .5cc. This is going to sound very childish but why can't I keep water down with the normal fill ? There was about 6 women in my first fill group and only one other person needed a defill.

Yes , she said sorry it was her mistake. I think next time I will call and talk to her in person to confirm the Apt. The lady who was there was very nice, and I did not want to spit the dummy on her , as she said she would do me right away , and was very nice about it.

Mine was Benny and Jerry's Ice cream, the chocolate one with the brownie in it, so sweet, creamy ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Once I did it I thought this really was not so bad. The gas in my shoulder was painful, thank god for gas x . Some people that I have read about ,did not have any gas pain. Lucky them

Well , the lady who did the fill was very nice and had no idea what could of happened but told me not to worry she would do the fill and let them know on monday. I would have only lost my mind if she could not do it. I dug out the comfirmation email of the apt and sent it back to them asking about my apt. I do not like the Idea that I can book a fill, confirm it,fly down and they do not bother to show up and had no idea that I had an apt ! What the hell is that all about ! What the hell is that all about

I am glad they were able to do it, but when you travel by plane nown you do expect to have an apt. I would have had a melt down if they could not do it !

Hi Dawn, I was really nervious too. I flew to Toronto the morning of my surgery, checked into the hotel and went right to TLBC. It gave me no real time to think about it that day. I waited about a min in the waiting room and they took me in to sigh papers , get changed, weighed, met the doctors and then off to the OR. It was very fast and they were all so nice. answered all my questions. Don't worry it will all be fine Congratulations on your decision :clap2:

Well went to TLBC for my fill on Friday , and quess what , the persom who does it was not there and was not coming in even thouhj I had confirmed with her on Tuesday ! Well the person who was there was able to give me the fill. I will be calling there on Monday. I made a special trip to fly down !

Yes there will be lots of venders, with hip belts, music, t shirts as well as full costumes. There will be bellydancers from around the world peforming & giving workshops for the weekend. We will have 8 hr of dancing a day. I can't wait ! Ihave been dancing for 4 years. Keep up the dance class, it will soon be part of your blood !

How sad Yoda, We don't eat there ,but it is a whole class up on the Days inn where our dance school gets a discount. I love the Adult only pool / hot tub that stays open until midnight and you can see the skyline while you are sipping on you drink ( as long as it is in a plastic cup ) We will be there from this Wed to Sun as Toronto is having an international Bellydancing Conference for the weekend.

I thought that I would feel some restriction after the first, and I did for about a min. Now nothing ! I have 4cc in now, how much will they put in on Friday ? I am really trying to stick the fisg , fruit and veg's and stay away from the pasta and bread. It is going pretty good. Although I did have a meat and cheese sandwitch with out the bread last night. I know I as weird. I have been to the gym three times this week , which is three times better then last week !

I wasa told there was a medical rate there, but when I calle4d they told me no. SOOOOO I stayed at the Delta chelsea, no discount but has the best beds. I will be back there in two days.

Well I was banded on Feb 2, at TLBC .my phone consult was two weeks before that. I was rushed to have the pre op done, but every thing went fine. Best of luck to you

That is my biggest probles too. I really need to slow down, and think ! I feel I need more restriction, My next fill is on Friday.

I was reading on another site that this woman was banded a year ago and only lost 7lb. How is this possible? Did the band fail, or was it her inability to use the band correctly ? Yasmina :Bunny

I told two people, DH and one friend who came with me for the surgery. I told no one else, and I am not planning on it. I have a friend ( sort of, who always talks about everyone elses short comings, I know that she would tell everyone about this and laugh at me as well , Good friend ) This is private.
