OMG You live by a Michaels ! If I was so lucky it would be like I died and went to heaven. I have to go to Deluth to find one. I love all their beads. I am addicted to making bracelets / necklaces. our fudge that we make is from chocolate and condensed milk, not sugar so it is very creamy. Yasmina

I have read that you should proteins first, then veg/fruits. Bread and pasta can cause problems because once chewed a lot ,they become gluey. Could you not sip small amounts of liquid with the bread ? What about spicy foods ? Yasmina

Stick with it, you have come so far. I am sure you will get where you want to be, It may just take a little longer. Yasmina

Hey Cloe, I do crafts too. Candles, lofa soap. body scrubs, bracelets, necklaces, Perogies, cabbage rolls, fudge, fleece blankets ect. I belong to a dance troupe that does lots of fundraising . Yasmina:omg:

I am also allergic to mussels, but only New Zealand Mussels. Go figure. I am from Cape Breton, and when I go back to visit, I go on I sea -food diet lol Yasmina

Will there ever be a time that you will not pb and slime.Or is this just something that once you have the band, have to live with. when you hit your sweetspot in the fills will this stop ? Why would feel tighter somedays then others ? Is there swelling in the stomach because of the band ? Thanks for any advice Yasmina

I never think that I have picked expensive frames, but by the time I pay for lens , anti glare, scratch resistant coating, BOOM it's $400.00 bucks ! ( I always get the ones that come with the magnetic clip on sun glasses ) Yasmina

Mandi, Reitmans has regular sizes up to 15 as well as a section of plus sizes. I think theri stuff is a little roomier as I usually wear a 16 or 18 in some stores, but I can fit their 15 or W14 . Go figure. Congrats on the weight loss , that is so wonderful !!! Yasmina

After a fill why does it sometimes take days to feel the results. You would think it it was too tight, you would know right away ! Yasmina :paranoid

Hello Sunsreturn, I am in the same boat as you, I am going to Egypt six weeks after the surgery, so I quess I will have to wait until come back for a fill. I am from Thunder bay and must fly to Toronto for fills. Good thing I love Toronto ! Yasmina

Welcome Doriana, I will also be banded at the Prince Arthur medical Clinic, but not until Jan. you both must be soooo excited ! This site is great ! I have learned so much about what to expect from the surgery. Everyone is great in sharing their experiences. Wish you both all the best Yasmina

I feel the same way, I don't want people to know about it. I don't want to be judged or talked about. I just want to feel better about myself .For once I would like to walk into a store and take something off the rack in a regular size store and know that I could go up a size in their clothing if needed. I have read so much in the past week about everyone's success as well as problems. Sometimes I feel so excited about my decission then I read something that makes me doubt my decision. I know I need this,I have been large the past ten years. On more diets then I care to admit. The last year I have lost 50lbs and able to keep off 40lbs. On the other hand I still need to lose 80lbs. Would you do it again with all the problems, discomfort, success, and the price ? until I actually have my surgery, I think I will be doing lots of rethinking ! Yasmina :omg: :faint:
