I made the decision to have surgery 5 years ago, but decided to join a partially paid insurance program through a healthclub in Redmond, WA that claimed 95% of the individuals who completed the program kept the weight off for a minimum of 5 years. Well everyone I know in the program including me gained the weight back. It did take me 5 years to gain it back and so I decided that Lapband surgery is the way to go.
