I was banded on Oct 5 and also had a hernia repair,and waking up after surgery was the worst. I am 5 days out and walking in the morning has help me make it through the day. after the my whole first day out i stopped taking the medication,I just felt more in control without it if that makes sense.today I feel real good.congrats to you! -
