I have always been an emotional eater...however, I think my emotions will level out as I lose weight and feel better with confidence......??? Seriously, I might take up knitting/crocheting!! crossword puzzles...hmmm.....

Hey Guys! My journey begins somewhat tomorrow! My surg is on Tues. but check in and spend the night tomorrow!! I hope that the thought of being thin helps me get through the next few weeks! When were you guys able to start exercising? How long did you just kind of take "strolls?" JC--Are you getting better? You sound like you are....? Apple-If you are strong enough to keep dating while doing this thing, then by all means, go for it. I know I am not. My self esteem/confidence gets kicked in so quickly that I am waiting until I feel better about ME.

I am OK. Getting geared up for the surgery next Tuesday. Any last minute FYI's would be great! I am so going to miss swimming, I have been swimming 30-45 minutes a day for exercise and now I won't be able to do that for a while. I think 6 weeks.......ugh, so hate the treadmill but I guess I 'd better get used to it! LOL

I just got back from my Pre-Op visit and I DO believe this is our year!! I am thinking that we should all go on a weekend next July/August to celebrate! PREOP DIET= 2 Protein shakes and a Lean Cuisine or WW meal I lost 6 pounds since last time. I guess I can go mark that on my ticker! LOL

He won't mind that you don't want a drink or popcorn ,that's another 10 dollars in his pocket! lol

Hey guys! Derb--It's not all bad. I told my peeps that I work with.....For the more eyes are on me the more likely I am to succeed. AND! Now, I have a damn good reason to not listen to their "OH you can't just eat that!" Is that all you are going to eat?" blah blah.....they can ask me a few times now, if they want but it will be the same answer and they will STOP! I want them to say "WoW look at her! What did she do? Oh yeah, she was LUCKY enough to do one of those weight surgeries, she looks great, damn, I wish I could do that!" LOL

Hey Guys! I know I know....The NO DRINKS while eating will be so hard BUT maybe that will help with the forcing to push away from the table...you know...."Oh my gosh I am so thirsty! If I stop eating now I can drink sooner!" maybe........??

I am a self pay too! Anyhow, he suggested that you lose some weight, does that mean that you will get your surgery on the same date even if you are not able to lose weight?

Hi! I am on August 7th also! Not scared about the surgery but scared about succeeding but I guess that is all up to us! Have you started a pre op diet? Hey guys! On the liquid thing for the two weeks or whatever before, it has to be sugar free liquid right?

Did any of your Docs require a pre op diet with weight loss? If so, how did you do? Did he still do the surgery even if you didn't lose the required weight?
