Bmammom, I totally feel your pain. I was banded 8/12/10 and had lost 26lbs pre-op. I immediately lost about 13lbs after being banded. Then bandster hell set in and I struggled just to not gain anything back. I had 3 fills within 90 days post-op and only began to feel slight restriction with my 3rd fill. I have an 11cc band and was at 8cc at my 3rd fill. I began to panic, and felt like I would be the only person who this surgery would not work for. I had a .75cc fill on Wednesday and I feel like a new person. For the first time in my life, I'm not hungry. Don't give up, you will get there. I was hopeless a week ago, and today I am so excited. I was banded yesterday morning and I'm feeling pretty good. No pain from any of my incisions, but I do have pain where my port is. I've seen a lot of people complaining of the same pain after surgery for quite a few weeks. Percocet seems to be the only way to make the pain numb. On a 1 to 10 scale, I'd say it's only a 3.
