Hello all. I am due to be banded march 22, 2010. I am nervous, but also very excited. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for 3 years now. I have pcos and have not been able to conceive. I was just wondering if anyone has pcos, and if they have gotten pregnant after banding, how long it took, and how much weight they had to lose before they got pregnant. Currently I weigh 310 lbs and I am 5'8

Hey all! I started my two week liquid diet today, and I am already miserable. I know it is the best thing for me, but I do not know how I am going to get through two weeks of this without cheating! The shakes they have me on are DISGUSTING and I have never been fond of anything sugar free, so this is a big challenge for me. Any ideas on how to get through the next 2 weeks? :biggrin:

So I have cheated three different times now, and I feel just awful. I am terrified that my liver is not going to be shrunk enough for surgery and that I am going to wake up without my band :cursing: Did anyone else cheat, and still have the surgery? -

Congratulations on your pregnancy! That is SO EXCITING!!!!! That gives me so much hope that I can get pregnant after I lose my weight. You will have to keep me updated as your pregnancy progresses, and let me know when you have that baby! Once again, congrats!:thumbdown: -
I have a surgery date on March 22, 2010 to be banded. I am starting to become very nervous, although I was not nervous when I started this process. Is this normal? Does anyone have any tips to get me through the days until surgery? I start my liquid diet march 8, not looking forward to it either. Thanks for any advice, it will be appreciated!

My surgery date is also march 22! I have gained weight as well. I keep eating everything, thinking I wont be able to much longer. Not a healthy mindset, I am sure. I feel ashamed about how much I have gained. I know I need this surgery, but at times I feel like I am not strong enough to follow through. Hopefully we can all be each others support system!:thumbup: -

Thanks Ayme :thumbup: I am a big carb eater. (Love my breads). I am hoping that the cravings will disappear after awhile.
