    did you question yourself...

I think everyone had doubts about the surgery. I questioned my decision up until the day, then I told myself --- Well there is no backing out now. I have been banded now for 2 months, everything that I thought would be problem -- so far has not been. I have had two fills and that worried me how I would be afterwards... So far so good. I would recommend it.
  2. Banded on the 28th. First 5 days couldn't eat if I wanted to cause I hurt too bad. Left Shoulder pains nearly brought me to tears a few times. Went in for my first fill yesterday, bumped me up from 2 cc's to 4 cc's. That was different, great nurses to deal with though. I started to have days where I felt hungry before that, thought this would be hard, but I'm doing better. I find that if I stay busy, I forget about food altogether - so I try to stay busy. Even if it's looking at forums... Doctor was happy with my weight loss after surgery 22lbs. in 4 weeks. Lost 87 lbs. total since first weekend in June, it was a rough summer. When you go in for a fill they will check your band and see how quickly fluids go through, and adjust from there. Mine was going through pretty quick before the fill, slowed down alot afterwards. Good Luck and remember you have support...
  3. Not snoring at night, sleep nearly 7 hours --- in a row, Back doesn't kill me when I get up in the morning. My kness are starting to feel better. And I can fit in my wifes Cobalt and can drive to the Doctors office in it. Getting tired of the compliments though ---- Yeah Right :-)

Have you tried the Smoothie King Gladiator. That's what was recommended by my Doctor. With Splenda and fruit pretty tasty, really good if you use the flavored Splenda packs.
