I feel I did the right thing also.No regrets .And believe me I am working hard at this.I just want to undo something fast that took 50 years to gain.( My weight)
We are about the same age me a little older and ya know what! I would have done this years ago! Best thing I did. Look the band does do a lot of the work byt you also have to work at it! let me know how you do! come into the cath room lots of great ppl there. HUGS GL
I was going to ask the same thing . I was banded on 12/17. I lost 21 pds so far. I had my first fill on 1/26 and have lost maybe a pound or two.My next fill is 3/2. My portions are smaller and I exercise 4xs a week Treadmill 2miles for 35 min.I don't get it! I am getting hungry in between meals.
When will I really start to see the weight come off? I was banded on 12/17. I have lost 16lbs. My first fill is on 1/26.I am not eating anything like I use to .Will I see a difference after the 1st fill?
I was banded on the 17th of Dec.I lost 16 pounds on the liquid diet. But now that I am able to eat soft foods I have gained a 1 1/2 in two days. I am getting nervous. I get hungry but I am sticking to the three meals a day one of them being my protien shake. Once I eat I am full which is a blessing. Any words of advice?
I also had that same shoulder pain. I took two tylenol it helped. I can eat soft foods om Christmas. I am really supposed to wait the two full weeks but my doctor gave me the go ahead and told me to go slow
I was banded on the 17th. The amount of gas I have is crazy. All I do is burp or............ I can't stand it .Is this normal? I am taking gas-x and pepcid.How long can I expect this? Is it because I have no solids in my system? Help!!!!!
I was banded on the 17th, yesterday I felt alot of discomfort. Today I am feeling alot better. I am sore but can handle it without pain meds.I don't have any nausea at all just alot of gas.I think tomorrow will be a better day.
I am scheduled for dec. 17th.My family thinks that I am crazy and can do it myself.My goal is to lose about 50 - 60lbs.I have had weight issues since childhood. Always the chubby one.If I exercise full steam I lose some weight the problem has always been staying motivated.I don't and then I gain the weight right back again .Help am I making the right choice?
