I have been a chubster all my life and have just become an aunt. Watching my sister go thru her pregnancy woke me up. I am heavier then her and she had many problems and had already lost a fetus due to her weight and blood sugars. I dont want to be like that. I want a healthy baby and a healty pregnancy. The Lap-band will be the 1st step in assurin gthat will happen. My Consult with Dr. Roslin is 9/30. I just got insurance approval this week. I am scared and excited!-----Update. I was banded on 1/5/10. I am currently 6 days post op and down 5 lbs!
