Hi everyone,Today my doctor discussed me getting lapband surgery. But then we remembered the hernia in my stomach. The hernia is located to the right of my bellybutton. Back in my baby makin days I had 3 c-sections, and last year I coughed badly and all the time for nearly a year. Once my doctor changed my blood pressure meds the coughing stopped. She feels due to the c-sections my stomach muscles were weaked and then the harsh coughing caused the hernia. NOW, my question is...does anyone know if lapband surgery can be performed with the hernia being located where it is? I would really appreciate any info anyone can give me. I am supposed to have both knees replaced and it's very important to me to get the lapband surgery and get as much weight off me as I can. Thanks,Jules
