I feel so lucky to have had this surgery and feel better and better about my health, my look, and everything else around me. Thank you to everyone here in this site who have helped me by sharing their experiences. All the best to all of you.

Hi Kimberly, I am right there in the same situation as you are, I am counting calories, eating right, drinking a lot of liquid, walking at least an hour a day and still stuck in that same number on the scale as I was at the end of first week!! so frustrating. Looks like we had the surgery around the same time, just keep working at it and it will all come together for us soon. I am hoping after my first fill in ten days the number will start moving faster. Hang in there.

Hi hopefulmechelle, Thanks for your reply. I am very short and am a diabetic too, a bit over borderline ,not too bad so 165 for my height was way too much. I will start checking those inches, thanks for suggesting that's a great idea.

Thank you both for your support. No one said it was going to be easy, i know but so frustrating when I feel starved most of the time but i feel much better physically due to all the walking i have been doing.

Hi Everyone, On Friday it will be three weeks since I had my surgery. I read here from other people that they have lost 27 pounds in three weeks and that makes me feel that I am not doing something right. I only eat 3 time a day as my doctor told me to do and I have been walking at least an hour daily. I started at 165 and now I am at 149. What is the range to be in at 3 weeks post-op? I will have my first fill in about 10 days, for now I don't feel any restriction at all but I do watch my portions very carefully Except once or twice cheating event that I still regret. Thanks

I went for my first post op and everything was great. I have lost 10 pounds since my surgery 11 days ago. Today is another story, I am feeling so down and can't figure out how to deal with it. I went for a long walk, had my soft food, and then started having desire to cheat and attack anything that I get my hand on I haven't had any fills yet so I didn't feel full after my cheat!! I hate myself now and so I am about to take a cool shower and go for another looooooooooooong walk. I WILL NOT DO THIS TO MYSELF AGAIN.

kcweir, Hang in there, I had my surgery two weeks ago and just started soft foods after my nutrition class few days ago. Try not to weigh yourself everyday, it could be a total mental torture which will drive you to eat more and cheat once you are not on the liquid diet anymore. Set a day for yourself to go on scale and then celebrate your achievements . It will get better and better each day just be patient:)

Thank you all for your support, it means so much to me and helps me a great deal. I have promised myself to keep a record of everything I eat and feel so to help myself deal with this head hunger feeling. Also, I know every time I cheat I have to go for one of those loooooooooong walks even if I already exercised that day. I just need to understand it's one day at a time and I don't want to live being diabetic for the rest of my life. Today, I am up and running and in great spirit and planning to work out twice. Thanks again for listening to me.
