Thanks to all the well wishes for my baby girl, you would think nothing happened to her, kids bounce back so fast. We go next week to have her put under to have the stiches removed and then we will take it from there. Thanks again! -

What is your goal weight for your height?
mom2girls replied to gingerjane's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Iam 5'3.5 and my goal is 136lbs but would like to see what 126 would look on me, however I like my curves and may stay with 136. -
I just wanted to talk about my weight loss slowing because people at work do not tend to understand. I am steadily losing a 1/2 pound to a pound a week, I am just anxious about meeting my goal. When I started this process I was losing 8-10lbs a month. It is a fight to the end now. By the way I do not think it has anything to do with my eating or working out habits, I just think my body has figured out what I have been up to and now she wants a fight.

mom2girls replied to Whillow's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I also get this feeling and it has only come after my last fill< i was wondering if this is restriction? I have never had it happen before and I am on my 5th fill last week. -
Sorry to hear that, it sure does suck when you can not get the gas out I feel for you.

Because of my sucess my sister in law is next
mom2girls posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My sister in law has her surgery tomorrow with my doctor, she has been so impressed by my weight loss that she started asking me about my doctor and what the band was like and that led her to make an appointment and 4 months later she is set for surgery. It makes me feel good, plus now I have a buddy in the family that will understand and she gets the benefit that I am 7 months out and have gone through a lot of what she is just about to start. -

***bumping so everyone can find to add their weight lose*** -
I dont have restriction either and my doctor uses the floro imagining and he says I look tight, the only thing I notice is longer periods between my hunger. Now I still occassionally get the head hunger and it is usually at events or parties. I wonder what restriction is as well but I just look at it this way, the band is like a diet pill without all the heart racing. I dont feel as hungry but i could still eat a ton if I wanted. I am not sure this helps but maybe your just looking at it all wrong and should eat your 4 oz and wait to see if you are still really hungry.

Mother's Day Challenge Anyone?
mom2girls replied to MommyOf1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Well I lost only 6 of the 10 lbs I wanted to lose I feel like I did a great job, I have been having a hard time these last few weeks with finals at school, working full time and of course having a family who needs me as well but I am not taking summer school so I can focus on working out with my girls and hopefully lost my last 21lbs to reach goal! -

Okay lets try this again, mothers day challenge I did not meet my goal but i did lose so I am happy. I am aiming for 21 lbs. It will be hard but I think I have finally found my weaknesses and tackled them all. Good Luck! -
I have always been chunky as long as I can remember, in highschool 5'3 and 160lbs. I just didnt have a great family enviroment to teach good habits and then I get married and have two kids and then like you 223lbs and wishing I was 160 again.

Mother's Day Challenge Anyone?
mom2girls replied to MommyOf1's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I agree with you, these last two weeks I felt like I was fighting an army to get any weight off. I am not sure but I may have hit a plateau. It has become increasingly harder to get any weight off and I am still like you hitting my target calories, Protein and workouts. Maybe I will wake up one morning and be 5 lbs down, here is hoping  -
You look great!

***bumping up*** -
I just need to get this out there for my own personal way to get over it and get past it. I feel defeated lately, I have done so well on this journey but lately I am being attacked by my inner demons summoning me to fail. I eat great healthly meals low carb, high protein but I have fallen slave to candy any type of sweets really. I keep wondering if i will ever reach my goal since I keep sabotaging my efforts lately. Thanks for reading :-)

Feeling defeated, Can I make it?
mom2girls replied to mom2girls's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I love the idea of better treats, I am gonna pick some up today. I love Crystal Light popsicles and they are just 15 calories. I am not sure I am scared but this may seem silly but sometimes I miss my old eating habits when I see my family gorging on a big bacon cheese burger. I can never eat like that again of my own choice now that i know how many calories are in it I would feel sick after eating like that. I am WAY happier now than before but occasionaly feel sad and can not wait to hit my goal so I can go on maintence mode. Thanks for all your support and answers  -
