I need some help with menu plans

I don't really have any meal plan ideas (I'm looking for that as well). But here's my favorite Protein drink - so easy and quick. Mix a one-serving packet of Crystal Lite with some Protein powder, Water and ice. Take and go. My favorite is lemonade Crystal Lite with vanilla protein powder - tastes like lemon creme. Also try raspberry along with strawberry powder.

    Help! I am starving

They might not give you your first fill then. I think many doctors like to wait to do the first fill until 6 weeks after surgery, for purposes of healing. Hang in there, though. Tell your dr what's going on. It is normal to have good restriction at first but then to have it disappear all of the sudden. And it might take several fills to get you to the right level. Just try to be as healthy as you can during this time but don't beat yourself up over it. Good luck!
  3. I know that I will still get hungry with the LAP-BAND®. I'm OK with that. But my doctor says that with the LAP-BAND®, I should be able to feel satisfied with eating only a small amount a few times a day and I should not get hungry between meals. I've heard a lot of people on here talk about how a certain amount of food "fills them up" or or about not feeling hungry for a few hours. I feel like there is a difference between "pouch-full" and "stomach-full". In other words, my pouch can be full and I can't eat any more, but at the same time my stomach will still be hungry. Is this "pouch-full" what everybody is talking about when they say they aren't hungry as often with the LAP-BAND®? Or should my stomach be feeling full as well? Not sure if I need to get another fill - because I'm feeling restriction when I eat - I'm just still feeling very hungry at the same time. So...Would someone please tell me....what does this "full" feel like? Thanks for your thoughts! ~ Confused and hungry in TX :smile2:

    Pantry Prep

Broth! It will taste sooo good after surgery. Yogurt - (no strawberry/raspberry because of the seeds) Also, get some Protein powder - don't spend a lot of money on the big tubs - you might buy one and not like it. try and get some smaller cans or samples if you can. I mixed some vanilla Protein Powder in with my yogut and pudding and it was pretty good! Also - for protein - I liked Isopure Zero Carb Protein drinks. They are the best tasting protein drinks I have found. 40 gm protein in each bottle. Tastes like fruit juice. They are pretty expensive though, about $4 per bottle. I got them at GNC but you can probably shop around and maybe find better prices. Isopure RTD Variety 6-Pack - NATURES BEST - GNC Good luck!

    Best food tracking sites/apps?

I've tried many different trackers - but my favorite is Daily Plate at Livestrong.com. It has by far the largest library of foods you can track - rarely have i been unable to find something. It's free online - and the iphone app is also free. Both are really easy to use. You can enter your foods online or on your iphone.
