No I have not but I like Chinese food and there is a dish called hot pot wich is kind of like a stew. It has different styles but I tried Chiken and salted fish and tofu altogether and it went down fine. It sounds weird but is very good.

Nope I get My fill next week. I am just sticking to a Atkins type diet. I did not expect to loose weigh this fast so I'm curious to see what this tool can do for me... You can try V8 juice its very good and it will take away the salty cravings and you can get it low sodium too.

Hi, everybody hope the Holidays were good and you did not gain a lot of weight...... So I've lost about 40 pounds since I started this journey. Got banded Dec 2nd. Far better experience than expected; no a lot of pain only took 1 days worth of pain meds. Only gained about 3 pounds during Christmas. Found out that pork is not my friend anymore but coffee is good (Thank God) Cottage cheese is good high protein low fat with sugar free jams is better and a good alternative to yogurt. Chili is good. Muscle milk is very good, no fat or sugar and about 25 g of protein. Tofu is good. If you have any tips please let me know

Ok so Im about 2 weeks post op and have to say I feel better than expected. I've lost about 17 pounds since surgery and about 30 since I began this process and even though my Wii Fit syas Im obese who cares I lost 30 pounds!!!!!!! I've started softer foods and had a nasty encounter with a saltine cracker I've been able to eat Chili and cottage cheese and yogurt some baked tater tots and croutons. True that I have to chew the hell out of it but it's well worth it. Scramble eggs go down well if not to dry and if you put some salsa on them they are excellent. If you have any pointer and or recipes please let me know MERRY CHRISTMASS!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry thank you for answering. Just had my band placed Dec 2nd. Doc is very good had no pain his staff is great; had an good experience in the surgery center as well. I am a bit afraid to eat. I don't want to throwup...

Ok I had my surgey last Wednesday it was bumped a day before because Doc had to leave that Thursday. No complications dont remember a thing recup time was good. Have not had pain at all just a bit of discomfort on shoulder and neck due to gas from lap procedure. Now stomach gas (burping) is driving me crazy Gas-X not helping any sugestions will be welcomed. Bought Wii Fit very cool would recommend it it really works with you. Will keep u guys posted on progress. Good luck to everyone God Bless and Merry Christmas!!!!

Hi everybody. Had my surgery last Wednesday Dec. 2nd it was great had no pain just some discomfort. Now the gas issue is killing me got rid off the gas pain on my shoulder and neck but stomach gas is bad Gas-X not helping any ideas? -

Hi, congrats on your upcoming surgery. Mine is Dec 3rd and it seems a million years away but good things come to those who wait ;o)
I've been researching and at least I'm going to use for my liquid diet Muscle Milk. Its hi in proteins and low in fat. You can have the lite version in the morning (its too heavy for me) the reg one for lunch and the a sensible dinner (think Atkins diet) I am starting tommorow with the shakes in the morning to kind and ease myself into the two week diet prior to surgery. Hi, I have a Dec. 3rd date for my surgery and I am just excited about the opportunity of having a new healthier life. I have a beautiful wife and two children and I need to be around for them. I've been trying different shakes, even though I don't start my pre-surgery diet until Nov 19th, and found that the muscle milk is very good and tasty too.

Hi, I wanted to share this with all of you. I was looking into shakes for my pre-surgery diet (Dec. 3rd!!!) and if you use Muscle milk it has the same calories as the Atkins shake, but it has half the fat and about 5-6 grams more of Protein. They better tasting and you can buy them at Wallmart. So anyway hope this helps

They have it at Wallmart I don't remember how much it was but if you are in a hurry you can get it there....hope it helps:thumbup: congrats on your surgery date
