Good luck!! That makes at least 6 of us that I know of having surgery on Tuesday. I just loaded up on Gas-X strips and filled my pain prescription. -

Just drink a lot of Water the day that you are getting your official weight. Or slouch a little when getting your height checked. Those are somewhat honest ways to beat the system. -

Surgery is not something you "try". Once you've done it, it's there to stay for the most part. Make sure you do lots of research and are sure it is right for you before you decide to do it. There is usually a 3 - 6 month waiting period if insurance is covering it. Start the process but don't pull the trigger unless you are positive that you know what you are doing.

You have to focus on the end result. Put what you are not eating out of your mind of train yourself to think of it as garbage. I have been on shakes for 18 days and I am not starving and have dropped 15 pounds in that time. Good luck.

I wouldn't undergo surgery to lose only 50 pounds but it is a personal decision. Also, you'll be paying for it out of pocket because no insurance company will pay with your low BMI. What else have you tried? -
