Thanks Mandi, never know what to go see.

Hey Mandi, cool video. Just another reminder. Thanks

When people ask me, how I can work in the lab with blood and guts and all the other excretions you can and cannot imagine, I tell them that at least it's in a test tube or some other container. As for nurses, they have to deal with it when it's coming out of the patients. And that's why I didn't chose nursing as a carreer.

OH MY GOD Becca, been there done that!! That's one of the worst things that could happen. Computer downtime procedures are terrible and even worse when they are back up and running. I'm curious, do you have someone check the manual entry before you release the results?
-
So sorry to hear all that you've been through lately. Now you are on the road to recovery. Hope everything goes well from now on. HUGZ!!!

That's funny Neenah. The contractors are still in my house and are yet to be finished at work. Apparently, we are moving in the newly renovated lab this week. The problem is that there were some things that never made it to the final draft like some of the plumbing is missing. There are 4 drains missing, the drains that get rid of biological waste from the analyzers. The manager says we are moving anyway. I say the first time we need to dump some of the waste, he should be the one to do it.

Yoda's Jedi Journals (aka Yoda's Yammerin's)

The only way I tolerated the Vanilla Optifast was with a bunch of raspberries in it. I've got a whole box minus one package for ya Yoda....really I don't mind. After all it is worth about a hundred bucks! I can so totally relate to the Roots bags fetish. Between bags and shoes I don't know what fills my closet more. And Mr Wheezy just shakes his head when I show him my new purchases. -
You are doing awsome Chloe. WTG

Glad everything went well for you. Toronto is a fun place to visit, not sure I would like to drive in it all the time though..

Good Luck Astro...Hope everything goes well

Speaking of sliming and Pbing. I was at a meeting today in Ottawa, lunch was provided. There was chicken marsala, salmon and a Pasta dish. I can eat chicken if I am very careful, salmon usually isn't a problem, but it seems that even just a little bit of pasta.....well... I had to almost run to the washroom. Thank goodness everyone else was eating and not using the facilities. There was the cleaning lady looking at me when I was washing my hands though.... Anyone else had a problem with pasta? It seems that I have to elliminate it from my diet.

Neenagh, great pics. You look great!!!

Nope, no hotel room here. Do you think that I could ask my boss if I could work at the local hotel he would agree? I think I will suggest that tomorrow. LOL

When I think of him, all I can think of is his eulogy for his father's funeral. I absolutely lurve him..... and his wife...she is sweet. Not a future bandster as far as I can see.

Finally, the contraters are here to fix the damages of the storm that left us with a flood Dec. 5, 2006. Now all I have to do is not do any dusting, it's not worth it until they are done!!! The thing that gets to me the most is the lab I work in is also under renovations. It's a mess everywhere I spend time in and it's getting to me. Agh!!!! I've been busy and haven't had much time to catch up. Sooooo many post, sooo many new people. The support is growing and that's wonderful.

Mookie, you sound sooo much better. Glad to hear from you

I believe that it's called keloid scars. I'm sure I did'nt spell it right. My brother is a keloid healer and yes he has very bad scars from injuries and surgeries. He happened to be accident prone as a kid. Go figure.

Yoda, that is absolutely AWESOME. Great NSV

Cloe, I hear that the worst time to lose weight is when you are sick. It seems that the stress on the body increases levels. Increased cortisol level makes it almost impossible to lose weight. So don't fret about not having any weight loss, I'm sure that once you are feeling better it will come off. Take care of yourself

Yoda, Awesome. Half way there.!!!! I'm so happy for you. -
Cloe, sending hugzzzz your way. Did you ever think that your daughter might be experiencing the same types of anxieties you are but is just experiencing them differently. I have such a long story about my kids and it is still ongoing. It turns out that they both inherited all the bad genes from both their parents (yes that include me!!!). I had my kids see soooo many psychologist and psychiatrist that I could not recount them all. One of them actually suggested that I should lower my expectations and accept that they may never amount to do much (college, university etc.). I have never accepted that and the hope is still there. Never give up hope. As for the food, I soooooo understand!!!!!!

Cloe, you look fabulous!! WTG

Maria, hope you find the answers you are looking for with the next visit with the Doc. It's not right to have to live in such pain. :girl_hug:
-
The Doc in Ottawa that did my last fill told me that nitroglycerin can help that pain. He said that if I ever experienced it I should ask my family Doc for a prescription and keep it on me for such times. Anyone else ever hear this? I thought it was kinda weird because it's used for angina, but he said it would relieve chest pain like Neenagh is experiencing.

You guys are doing awesome Yoda and Cloe WTG
