I cant wait to see how you do!! Lee im glad your feeling better. Use your insparameter (sp) thing they gave us that totally helps get the gunk out too. I tried to use mine every hour or so. I was coughing up brown stuff for the first week or so. They gave me a breathing treatment because of my asthma before surgery so that had a little something to do with the brown stuff but the thing they gave us helped so much!! Im the only one on here, where is everyone!! I am so ready to get to the next stage, lookin forward to some egg salad and mashed potatoes lol...Im experiencing a little indigestion not half as bad as I used to but a little today so I am going to ask my PCP what he thinks I can do for it. Should I email Doc Who too??? The medicine I used to take for it isnt on either list in the binder so IDK... Anyways. So sad tomorrow is my last day off. I really could enjoy another week lol...

Its been a few weeks since I have hung out with her so it was a nice visit. I brought Hannah (my little partner from the Vallejo walk) home with me. I missed that kid. SO Im babysitting tonight. Hello Hello!! YaY Tam Tam!!! You will be at 230 in no time!! I hope ya get a fill too... Candra suprisingly I havent had any heartburn since the surgery and I ate tomato soup. It was weird when he said no hernia I was actually shocked!! Hopefully it wont come back once I start eating real food. We will just have to wait and see I guess. Walked 2 miles again last night and gunna try to do it again tonight. I felt so good after hoping it will make me ready for work on Tuesday. Goin to my PCP on Monday for my 2 week follow up. Heather how is the challenge goin? I put my membership on hold last night. No sense in paying for it while I cant use it.. Where is everyone?? Im the only one on right now. lol. Anyways, gunna go thinkin about seeing New Moon for the 4th time at the 3$ theator lol...

John, they had me come in at 6 too. They checked me in right away there was a lady already behind the desk. Then Candra showed up and I really only got to hang in the waiting room for 25-30 mins then they took me back. And yeah they didnt call my mom in until like 10 mins before I walked into the O.R. so yeah thats how it went for me. YAY Go Get Em!! Heather just wanted to say thanks for coming to visit me it was nice and btw your soup was BOMB Robbie tasted it (which turned into 1/2 the soup) hahahah and he wants the receipe!! It was great! Thank you so much!! We really need to do that more often. Im doin good today, Im starting to get bored at home (but not ready to go back to work) so I think we are going to run some of my errands tomorrow before the week is over. I had a dream last night I saw your picture that they give you after surgery it was cool. WEird lol. Lee, Pat gave me a really nice track suit that is now too big on me, what size are you? I can send it home with someone at the end of the month from our meeting. I think you would like it too!! Candra I am going to have to try those ideas when I advance to stage 3 which should be in a week. I kinda remember Doc Who saying something about me being on stage 2 a little longer because he added more in my band, im really hoping I was hearing things but if not oh well what can ya do right! How is everyone else doin?

Happy Monday everyone!! Well I am on day 2 of no pain meds yee haw!! I dont feel I really need them, the port is really the only thing that is achy (not painful) and its bearable. Robbie and I walked 2 miles last night, he wanted Ice cream so we walked to safeway with our pittybull lol.. I didnt even eat any lol. Luckily he bought a kind that I dont like lol. So yeah doin good today. Pat you crack me up!! Love it!! I am so excited for the meeting at the end of the month, I have 3 guests coming I think. One is my friend who has missed the last 2 I told her she better come or I will come get her lol. Then the lady who had bypass the same day as me who I met in the nutrition class, she is coming with a friend who is not a kaiser member but had rny in december and doesnt have support. So YAY... I also think another lady I met at the New Moon Premier who is pre-op through Kaiser (she has Dr Park) said she might be there too... YAY... So we will see. HEather what are the shoes you got?? Oh and as for the soup HECK YES I want some. I ate Tomato soup last night it was really good and creamy, kept me full for a while. Im gunna finish the can today and the start my black bean soup tomorrow. John I got the stuff from trader joes in the box, I am going to try it tomorrow and I will let you know how it is. I dont know what the others got. Well Im gunna go clean up a little my house is a mess. lol. So I think I am down 7lbs so far since surgery YAY. 10 more til onederland!! I cant believe it, I havent seen my scale this low in I dont know how long!! Have a great day!!

Happy Valentines day everyone!! My agenda today is to sit in my cozy recliner and snuggle up with my hunny and watch movies. Sounds like a perfect day!! I slept in my bed last night for the first time and it was amazing.. I slept like a baby lol. I have a little bit of a hard time getting out but I think I have found a roll over trick that seems to work without pain at my port lol.. Anyways, gunna go eat some applesauce and plop my butt on the couch. Hope everyone has a good day.

Hey all just checkin in real quick, im pooped.. My road trip was fun I didnt want to see my momma leave, I loved having her here. SHe was such a huge help. I was able to visit some friends too which was nice, I love showing everyone my battle scars!! Thats what I call them lol.. Heather I am so damn proud of you girl. I would have done the same thing as Candra and gone to TB.. You have so much drive its awesome!! You are going to kick Ass in this challenge Pat it feels SUPER tight and I just got up and walked around the couch and tried to strech thats what DOnna advised me to do.. It went away pretty quick probably because it was just pudding but man it was a pain at first. Im trying to eat slower too now. Went to trader joes in stockton and got the black bean soup I am going to finish my 3 other servings (from the same can) of slipt pea tomorrow so I cant wait to try it!! Ok well I just took some meds, I have been trying to only take them before bed but Mr. Port was hurtin a little more today. Have a great night all...

OMG Pat im comin to your house to eat... LOL.. I wish! Im here Candra, I was sleeping when you text me but I text you back about my yummy soup!! lol.. Had a good day today, ate some cream of wheat this am and it was gooooood!! tried to eat a vanilla sundae s/f pudding and it got stuck it was too thick, luckily Donna was here and showed me what to do. Needless to say Robbie will be eating those I dont want that to happen again. We all went to Costco and I walked around the whole store and pushed the cart the whole time. Got some applesauce, protein shakes and dog food (for riot of course) lol.. Was totally exhausted when we were done.. it takes a lot out of you thats for sure... Came home and mom made me some strained split pea soup.. man that was BOMB!!! Ate about 1/2 cup and I think it was too much I was really tight. feelin good now.. Im really gunna miss havin my momma here thats for sure, she is leavin tomorrow... JOhn and Lee ya ready?? Last weekend of freedom, enjoy it!! I am so excited for the both of you. Cant wait to hear all about it. John I think the terminator is PERFECT!! Good thinkin lol... How is everyone else doin???

Good evening all... Lee, so i was at the DMV on tuesday morning and let me tell you, my tummy started to rumble and as soon as I got home it was good I had taken the day off. So the closer to 10 you take it will help since you can get the afternoon off. It took me about 2 hours too for it to kick in but I was in the potty all day after that. good Luck with that... 6 more days!!! YAY..... Im so excited for you and John!! Elaine (the lady who sat next to me in class) has been keeping in touch with me too so thats been cool, she is going to try to come to the point west group at the end of the month.. Pat, the 20th works for me too. I will totally be there...!! YAY Im so glad your band is workin like it should how exciting is that. ok Candra seriously im going to call my band rocky LOVE IT!!! I can honestly feel when im full already, I ate a 1/2 a popsicle and that was ENOUGH!!! Im excited to eat some cream of wheat and pudding in the AM YAY lol..
