Well today I threw up for the first time. I tried eating a peice of Steak of the Grill, it was tough, and I should have spit it out! I was also in a hurry, never do that Again! Thanks for the comments luckyfive101, as of today I am down 48 lbs from my pre-op diet before the surgery. I am so pleased with the LapBand. It is so strange to see people you have not seen in 40 years and they tell you that you haven't changed. I still was so much heavier than when I was in school, but it felt great to hear the compliments. I have another photo shoot for the hospital in 30 days. I hope to look good then, going on the Mexico Cruise on the 26th, Thanksgiving Day. I am going to wear a slinky little black dress!!! Can't wait. My third fill is tight, so I am having to work with it. Sapphire and Viney I hope all is going well with you both too and that your getting Slimmer!

Haven't logged on in awhile, been busy with lots of things, one was my 40 year Class Reunion. It was a blast, I was in a size 18 jeans, (Not a 24W!) It felt so good. Down about 33 lbs since surgery, about 40 if you count the 10 days pre-diet for the surgery! Feels so good! I am having a hard time visualizing myself any smaller. Then I looked at your photos and I can see how the change has taken place in your life. You look amazing, I know you must be so proud! Thanks for posting those photos!

Hi Babs!
How are you doing now? I hope you are getting off some of your meds. Bio-modification will put you in a mind set to help you get in a happier state of mind and thus we must appreciate even the smallest amount of weight loss. It is as they say --LOST! I actually started excercising this past week and gained a pound! LOL Oh Well there is always next week. High protein curbs appetite and can jump start you again, try that! Later, Good Luck

HI Terry,
You know you are right! I enjoyed having you post to my comment! I do not want to get in ill health, the reason I did this was for the betterment of my health, the looks with the weight loss is just a plus! I am sorry to hear about your complications, please keep me posted about what your condition is and how you are handling it, and I will keep you in my prayers.

Hi msconniemac!
How are you doing? I've had my second fill and had to have a teenie bit pulled back out! It was refluxing into my throat. I feel really tight, even after drinking a protein drink, but not nausea or anything, just full.
I have got more energy and not afraid to increase my calorie intake, I charted the calories I burn each day, and it is more than I am taking in! So I know I am burning some fat. It is showing up on the scales. I painted the outside of a building by myself today! Four hours of painting and still had energy, no headache,it's getting good for me. Hope you're feeling this too. Know what- I'm sleeping better.
My class reunion is in two weeks! I have not seen some of my classmates in 40 years! I only hope I can get in to a size 16W by then! I have to go buy a good looking pair of jeans! Oh I know there will be those size 2's there but I don't care, cause I will be looking good too! Keep up the high protein and hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Kdee! I am so happy I got on Lindora online. They list it for free on the LapBand.com Website. If you are a LapBand AP patient. It gives me a daily chapter for motivation. A pep talk recording, just all sorts of things. Are you following that?

Hi, How are you? Hope you are doing great! I am down 34 lbs since I made up my mind to have this surgery. 25lbs since the day of the actual surgery, but I have to count the lbs I lost in the week or so before the surgery on my pre-op diet. It's all pounds and all gone. Are you excersising? I am just walking because I broke a toe and did not join a gym yet because of that, but it is almost healed and I am just about ready to join a local gym that has Zumba at it. They say that is a real workout.
