Your pics are awesome. You look so much happier in your pics now. I'm curious...how tall are you? I'm trying to find someone similar to me (I'm 5'10") to follow and try to chat with to compare notes. I go in for my first consult on 10/08 and I'm very excited!

I'm just now in the research phases, first primary care physician visit on 10/8/09 and am getting really excited about moving forward. This site has been amazing.

Hi everyone! I am new to the site and have just recently started researching the LAP-BAND®. I have an appointment with my PCP on October 8th and am preparing some information and questions to take with me. So far, I have the following: - General history of weight issues - Weight loss attempts (including methods and timelines) - Family background/indicators - Co-morbidities - My personal reasons - My support system/living situation I also have lots of questions for my doctor that I'll be taking with me. I have spoken to my insurance (HealthNet) and am told that coverage and any pre-op requirements depend upon my medical group and pcp. I want to be as prepared as possible in this meeting! I love my pcp and have great respect for her. I am curious if I'm missing anything. Your help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!! Esther
