Mandi I think that you are just as eligible for the contest as someone who is on a weightloss drug or herbal weightloss or weight watchers. And I am sure there will be some. Do others have to say if they are doing any of those? Unless they ask why should you feel as is you have an upper hand over anyone else. DeltaDawn I live between Winnipeg and Thunder Bay. It's winter here. The snowplows and the graders are all out in full force. I live along Hwy #1 and although we are not that much further north than Winnipeg we are considered north! The hwys are closed by Kenora due to an accident with 3 transport trucks. Oh ya the only reason I "accept" winter is because snow is how my husband makes a living and keeps in the lifestyle that I am accustomed to!!

I have been doing good with my scale obssession I have only weighed myself once in the morning and that's it. While I was away at my mom's I didn't weigh myself and I GAINED (scandle). I have lost 2.5 lbs towards my October goal of 8 lbs:faint:.

I live a couple of hours west of you. I am feeling good. I had my surgery on a Friday. Flew into toronto on Thurs. and flew back to Thunder Bay on Sunday. I bought my ticket for my first fill before my surgery! There was a seat sale 89.00 one way Westjet.

Hi I was banded Sept 22 and my first fill is Oct 30 and my second Nov 13 and third Dec 5 That was at TLBC and I was given these dates the day of my surgery. Hope that helps.

Hello I was banded at TLBC and I was given 3 fill dates. 1st Oct 30th second Nov 13th and the third in Dec. Maybe you do need a second fill acouple weeks later..Just a thought. I'm sure others with experience will help with more info!!!

I am still on full liquids and I CHEATED :angry I ate like a piggly wiggly:think I suck. I felt so shitty afterwards. Gut ache. and guilty. I was so hungry from not being prepared. We drove to my family home 4 hours away. Was starving when arrived. Didn't tell family other than sister about surgery and she wasn't there. So I ate food. boo hoo. I was so uncomfortable and had to hide it but it didn't even stop me. Bad me bad bad me OK I am over it now. I will be good from now on.

Yoda I feel for you regarding visiting the in-laws My husband's family are evil he has 3 sisters that are so greedy the fight over who gets the turkey carcass to make soup. For real! They are mean spirited and can be very cruel. I hope you don't have to deal with that! We are going to my mom's , my dad died almost 2 years ago and my mom moved to a small apartment and when we visit my brothers kids always come over to stay too. They are bratty and yell alot. but they are soooo cute. And I love to spoil them! It is a 4 hour drive. My mom lives outside of Winnipeg and I 'll probably do some shopping. I didn't tell my mom about my band. I am not sure she would get it . She would think its too extreme. I've been dieting since I was 10 - 11 years old with her help:speechles I won't get into that. I have avoided my in-laws by sending my husband with the kids stating work issues or other plans that could not be broken. Sometimes it is nice to stay home alone.

Hi Delta Dawn I live in Northern Ontario but not the Artic!! How do you do it?? It getting cold and I am dreading winter. Last winter was really mild and therefore overcast most days. Yoda, One thing I noticed with addition-elle is that when I was a size 18 everywhere else I was a size 16 there. So if they have a size 12 maybe it is really a 14 in disguise to make us think we are really smaller than we really are.:drama:

:paranoid I just the worse day today. I had my hair done and the other stylists at the salon were so annoying. My stylist had to color my hair twice so I was there for 3 hours so I was bitchy about that then the girls decide to discuss what they will have for lunch. That was annoying . next the bank sent a cheque I wrote back NSF when there was money in my account wierd isn't it. I go to the bank and the manager is on holidays till the end of the month . I hate that banks are so not personal these days you can't even call the branch directly. I have to call Toronto and they call them and then they call me and that was annoying! Then I go back to work and the girl I work with tells me that she can't work on Halloween evening. I make the schedule and she has another job. So I have to schedule her based on her availabiltiy (she worked for me before she got the other job yet she expects me to schedule her around the other job) and then her husband goes out of town so I have to schedule her around that and then I have to schedule her based on her babysitter's schedule. So she gave me her availability so I scheduled her, she did not say "I can't work Halloween nite cause I have to take my kid trick or treating. " So I lost it!! I was talking to my husband and I was vibrating "I WANT TO EAT SOMETHING BAD!!!!!" So I bought fat free fudgecilces and I ate 2:nervous My son comes home from school with a note from the principle with a warning (they have 3 warnings and you get suspended!) On the warning letter it says "Respect others and don't harm them or school property. Your child took a "Gatorade" bottle from another student without his permission. He decided to drink some of the contents." Now I was livid:angry I know my child is not angel but really, he didn't harm anyone. He took someones drink. How petty.... I called the school and talked to the principle but she said she would "look in to the incident" I said it sounded ridiculous to me from what was written on the form. So from there I went shopping. Bought my self two tops and some other things I didn't need! But I did calm down so my kids didn't have to get the brunt of my bad day. I really needed to just put my bad day out there. OK it is over I am going to bed early, tomorrow will be a fabulous day for me !!!!!:clap2:
