Yasmina the fill took 20 seconds, Kathy from the TLBC gave us(about 8 of us that all had surgery on the same day) a quick overview of what we should expect and some tips. Then the nurse took us in one at a time. It was so quick I was surprised she touched me lightly below my insicion line stuck me with the needle and injected the saline. Then we had to be able to drink half a bottle of water, then we could leave. That was it.

Lila is my stage name from my stripper days. I travelled the northern circuit I hope none of you have been to any of my shows!!! Just kidding!!!!:biggrin1: :biggrin1: really it's a nickname my sister called when I was a teenager. she knew a girl named lila who she thought was a big loser (no, not in the weight lose area) and she thought i was too. So she called the same name. I think she forgot why she called me that but I never did. She sometime still calls me that but now more as an endearment.

Hi Green I was in Toronto yesterday. And As I walked and shopped I was looking for you. A woman with large feet and a protruding liver. I'd whipser "green" to see if any one would turn around LOL I walked from Eaton Center to the Price Arthur Medical Clinic. It was such a beautiful day. Went to your Winners, nice stuff but I just didn't feel like trying anything on I had my first fill, all is well.

Wheezy I have dealt with those manipulator types more than once. It is so consuming and frustrating. I always seem to be the one who outs them. I 've had to suffer while this one in particular,told every one lies about me, it was a very isolating. Just keep your chin up, she's trying to break you . She feels threatened by you and she wants you to feels as inferior as she does. Do not give her the satisfaction. I really can empathize with you. And if that doesn't work, I know people!!! (Ask Neenagh, we're in negotiation for some work in her area. LOL)

Congrats on your sucess Dawn!! I have not met my weight loss for Oct:think I am getting my first fill Monday so I am hoping to get the weightloss happening again. But I have stayed away from the scale:) I have not been on the scale more than once a day.

I buy those $15.00 reading glasses. My eyes are not really bad,(1.15) but when I get tried I need a little help. I like my cheap glasses I think they're fun.

In the past when I've been dieting and I did not want to be tempted, I'd just show up after dinner. Or have people come to my house cause I feel more in control. I've not had any band related issues yet. I do find people in general are too focused on food and eating out, not on just being together .
