I forgot to share my funny story from my surgery day. While i was waking up from anthestic, I don't remember which room I was in , I guess the nurses where cleaning up the room and they were talking about what they were going to have for lunch. Describing details of food and how they enjoyed it etc. I was dozy (no kidding) and i could hear them after a while I piped up "Are you trying to torture me?" They seem to be embarressed and said sorry and I said I was just joking. I actually thinks its hillarious!!

I am just watching those maniacs on Biggest Loser. Too much sweating for me, man!!! That is crazy stuff.

i was banded the same day as you and I get a huge discomfort in the middle of my chest just below my breast bone when I have too much drink. Hope you find the answers you are looking for.

Cloe oh my gosh I am busting a gut. That is too funny. I could just picture my self on my hands and knees trying to pass gas and my husband would walk in and think... opportunity!! and then gas would pass. Sorry iam not as funny as you but I aspire to be!!!

I had hired a personal trainer come to my house 3 times a week at 7 am. I did this for six months then she moved away:cry She said "you've established a routine by now you'll be able to keep going." :pound: Ya right good theory though! I needed someone to come to my house which forced me to get up earlier and tell me what to do and that the only time I was consistant for any length of time. I don't like sweating on purpose. Unless I am sitting on a beach drinking a pina cola. mmm pina coldaaaa....

I am still hungry today =, but it is not as comsuming as it was yesterday. And last nite I had the worst gas. I wanted to sleep on my belly to help get it out. But it hurts still. No telemarketers today. lucky them!!

Have you seen that commercial for Quarker's weight loss oatmeal. The women are walking around with scale chained to their leg. That's me, I just run the chain up my pant leg and tape the scale to my big butt! Then I have it when ever I need it. It's like my security blanket.:funscale:

Thanks everyone, I know it will pass. I had a popscicle :hungry: I had to go to a pot luck supper for my daughter's group thingy. Anyway. I put food on my plate . Moved the food around, Put my fork(empty) in my mouth so people would think I was eating, nobody questioned me. weirdos!!! I ate broth it was so good. And apple juice make me run to the bathroom. Who knew you'd poo when you don't eat solids!! oh ya babies poo and all they have is milk. just thinking out loud. Someone else called for my husband a credit card company trying to sell insurance on a credit card. They are going to have my picture up soon. The guy asked for my husband, whom is rarely home during the day. and then he never answers the phone when he is here. Any hoo, the guy says hello is mr lila home. I yelled Yes yelled no he is not here and he's not coming back, he doesn't live here anymooore!! and I hung up and giggled.:heh: I'll be OK, really.:Banane23:

I've reached my sept goal. Today I've lost 12 lbs. yes I am happy about it but I am hungry. Maria, I weigh self naked, dressed, before and after going to the bathroom before and after I eat(when I used to eat) before I go to bed... I take a scale on vaction, sometimes. I admire someone who can stay away from the scale especially while losing weight! I plan not to go back up the scale so I'll just report my losses as they happen!

I am just crazy about shopping thats all. I didn't like the taste of the demerol and since I wasn't in too much pain I took tylenol but that tasted gross too. So I bought childrens tylenol and childrens gravol(this makes me less drowsy than regular) and they are so tasty it makes me feel like I am cheating ! I am so hungry today I read your message Yoda and went directly to the store and bought the fruit things. Now instead of eating 8 gas-x i'll have a popscicle!! A telemarketer called my house and I asked them to take my # off their list. He was pissing me off and said calm down ma'm. I hung up promply!What I wanted to say was LISTEN A$$HOLE I HAVEN'T EATEN IN 14 DAYS ...CALM DOWN . NOT GONNA HAPPEN. I was telling my husband today, I can't believe I am still alive and functioning. Yesterday I had 1 juice box apple 4oz gatorade 8 oz propel Water 4oz broth 4 childrens gravol 1 Flinstone Vitamin 8 gas-x cherry flavored!! Oh and no wonder this morning I weigh 194!! OK I want to lose weight but I am hungry "whinning". It all sounded so easy!!!!!(surgery/lapband/pre& post-op diets) not really. Ok I am done now! Later,

Hi girls, So today I had to work. I did it. Wasn't very swift. Just told everyone I felt fluish.:sick Ya I went shopping on Saturaday the day after surgery, I was so out of it though. I didn't even buy anything. And I walked and walked. We went to Sherwin Gardens and across to Home Sense and then to Walmart. I can't believe I am going to say this but I am getting bushed. I can't handle all the people. Every where went was so busy. Doesn't anyone have a job??!! Get out of the mall and go to work, I have shopping to do!!! Oh well I have to go for my first fill Oct 30th so I WILL SHOP AND BUY!!! smaller pants these ones are fallin' off my bum! I am still hungry and the protien powder I bought makes me want to vomit. I am soooo hungry. :cry I am going to make a ticker counting down till I can eat food....

My surgery(Friday) went well. I felt fine afterwards. On Saturday afternoon I went shopping!! I am friggan hungry though...:hungry: I talk to you tomorrow.

Yoda That is so sweet! My husband is not coming to Toronto with me. I going out to find a rock right now!! He staying home with the kids. My sister is coming with me and we are leaving later tonite to head the 3 hours to the airport. Off to pack my suitcase...see you on the other side!!!!!

You're right mandi. I was at the grocery store and the guy behind me had plain lettuce salad thingy. I was thinking mmm that looks good. and I don't really like salad. Made Cookies for my kids and they actually got to eat them! I think that a NSV!!!! Oh I slay myself!!!!

Hello everyone! Well three days left till surgery. My husband was teary today, :think he's afraid I'm gonna die or something. Actually he is probabaly worried that I gonna lose so much weight and be hot and leave him! Well, he better worry! I never though I'd be able to function on the pre-op diet. But other than being a bit, ok, alot bitchy:omg: I am managing! It's funny I thought I'd be rationalizing to myself "it's ok, in 10 days you'll be able to eat what ever you want..." but I know it will be a long time before I can eat what ever I want.
