At 43 I had finally accepted my weight as who I am. Totally exhausted from the constant dieting ....losing, regaining, feeling like I failed. I have always been confident and happy and just married my husband in December who loves me just the way I am. My main motivation for the Lap Band is simply for my health. I have lost both parents ...My mother died at the age of 58 from a heart attack she suffered with diabetes and hypertension and was also obese...Same with my father except we lost him to pancreatic cancer in February of this year. Of course I am very welcoming of being able to breathe better, look better and feel better.
