Hello, I'm not the easiest person when it comes to being healthly.  I have had 4 back surgeries and suffer with chronic back pain, and nerve damage on my right lower half.  I have a very sensitive stomach.  I also have a pain pump implanted to help control the back pain.  When my dr told me my insurance covers the surgery and that it should be very good for me, I was on board right of way.  I have been doing everything that was needed with my insurance since Jan 09.  I couldnt believe the day finally came to get the lapband.  I still had thoughts in the back of my mind that my surgeon would still not do the surgery due to my pain pump.  But, now, YEAH! he had no problems giving me the surgery.  I got banded on 9/8/09, with my insurance I had to stay the night.  It was a blessing, cause I ended up with complications.  I was very bloated and nausea,  I couldnt drink or eat anything.  My dr loosened the band the next day.  It really didnt help, so much bloating.  I would walk and walk the halls at the hospital.  I finally went home on my 3rd day after surgery.
