My surgery went very well. I had some severe pain in the recovery room but in a short while that subsided and I am at home,,,,really am feeling incredibly wonderful....I feel that this is all a dream...

I felt the very same way and I finally came to the conclusion that this was just a natural response to a major change. My husband too does not agree with my decision to do this and I just had to make the decision to do this for myself...for my children. My surgery is tomorrow and I know that this is the best decision of my life. Hang in there!! You will be soooo happy that you did. Visit this site often...I have found so much support on here. You will be starting the New Year with the most amazing beneficial decision of your entire life..

I am having surgery Monday too!!!!! Congratulations! You will be fine..not sure if you like tea, but it works well when you are on clears and keeps you from getting the caffeine headache. I feel the same way you do....I don't want to be a slug anymore. I feel like I am sleeping my life away. I can not wait for the positives that I know that this surgery is gonna bring! Thanks:) I am on the liquid diet and I am soooo amazed at how easy that this is. I have not even thought about food. It's like I know that this is it, it is gonna happen and I have to do it this way for a healthier me and I guess I am just really amazed at myself?? WOW I never would have thought I could do it...

I paid for my surgery today....ten dollars left in the savings account. I know that a year from now that it will be so worth it. I am eight days away and I am excited. I am looking forward to a new year and a new me!!!!!

I am a December Bandster!!!! :smile2: It feels so good to say that! I am scheduled for surgery December 28th and am so very excited. Bring on the liquids....I am ready to do whatever it takes.
