I have struggled with my weight for most of my adult life.  Like everyone else I have tried every diet known to man with little or no long term effects.  I have changed my mind a number of times concerning surgery.  I am terrified at the thoughts of a bypass, but not as scared of the Lapband surgery.  I have sleep apnia, arthritus, degenerative discs in back, high blood pressure, etc.  I am sooo tired of being tired and not able to sleep or do anything without hurting or getting so winded that I have to rest after walking across the room.  I have come here in hopes of support or encouragement to go ahead with the Lapband and learn from those of you that are post and presurgical about what to expect.
