My energy is pretty good. I have been on the treadmill everyday for and hour since I got out of the hospital. I'm doing the Couch To 5K. Are you getting in your protein?

Ok I'm two weeks out. Everything appears to be healing good but port area still very sore. Something weird though... Can anyone see their port? I can see the shape of it under my skin. I'm wondering if anybody else and see theirs?

I had my surgery on the 18th and I have no restriction. I'm still on liquids and can drink 16oz of broth with no trouble. I haven't been hungry at all but today is the first day I have wanted to eat something. I'm guessing it's all the Thanksgiving food. I don't know but everything looks good. I'm wanting some mushies at least. I still have 6 more days of Clear Liquids (been on them for 12 days). Is it going to get better?:thumbup:

Welcome Rozi, I was banded on the 18 and have only lost 2 pounds. I'm a little disappointed. I'm walking for an hour everyday since i got out of the hospital and eating under 400 calories a day (I still on clear liquids). I have my post op appointment tomorrow. U R lucky... I was banded also on the 18th and I'm still on clear liquids. I can't wait for full liquids. I'm also having shoulder pain, how bout you?

I had my surgery on the 18th. I have had little pain, incisions look great, no gas problems until today. My shoulder now is hurting pretty bad. I took the pain medication. For the most part the surgery hasn't been that bad. Everyday since I got home from the hospital I have walked for a hour in my neighborhood. I think that has helped in my recovery. I don't feel any restriction either. My doctor said he should have put some in. Told me to come in at 3 weeks instead 6weeks to get a fill. I'll still be on liquids then. Even though I have no restriction I'm not hungry, so thats good. Is your stomach making weird noises like gurgling. Maybe it's my stomach growling?

Hey I'm banded too. Do you feel any restriction? I don't feel any. My Dr. said he could see everything going down real good in the GI. He said I would need a feel in 3 weeks instead of 6 weeks. I'm glad of that. My pain is minimal. I took the hydrocodone last night because my husband insisted. Today I an going to take a couple short walks and try to work the sourness out. I'm thinking at this time I'm going to have a hard time getting 60oz down a day. Couldn't finish my coffee this morning, and thats not like me. So well will see. Also take you some good house slippers. You will be walking a bunch. Walking will make you feel sooooooo much better.
