I am trying to find out what I am doing wrong?? I was banded on 9/25/09 and between the 2 wks prior to the surgery n up until now I have lost 20 lbs. My frusteration is that I have been the same weight for about 3 wks now. I have not lost another lb since. What am I doing wrong?? Can someone please help me? Is this normal? I am like stuck in a rutt n can't get out n need help. If anybody can let me know if this is normal or if I should be losing more weight I don't know. I need help, recipes ideas n input. Thnxs!!

HELP....HELP.....HELP!!! I was banded on 9/25/09 and I am running out of ideas on what to eat...anyone have any suggestions or recipes that they would like to share? The doctors office put me on higher protein foods soft/pureed foods. I was able to eat fish (Tilapia) I dont know else to eat and I am getting really bored with the same thing. So please I am asking for recipes, ideas or any input offered!!! So far I lost 20lbs...wanna have it continue to come off!!!:confused: THNXS

Hi I am also doing the liquid diet scheduled for next friday...am having a difficult time. I have nibbled here n there on a cracker or something just because I am still feeling hungary n a bit shakey. What are you doing as far as your liquid diet? I need help because I am tired of the same thing over and over...I dont even know if I lost anything yet. I actually started doing the slimfast a little ahead of time just to try and get the feel of it so I was doing slimfast plus having some simple meals nutritious as well. Let me know any tips plz...,been looking for feedback from others but no one post any relpies back to me...thnxs!

I have been having a little difficulty with the liquid diet n am getting tired of drinking this slim fast. For the most part I am doing pretty good but will find myslef nibbling on a cracker or something...no major meals just a nibble here n a nibble there. For instance I made a huge pot of chicken soup with veggies n took all my broth but snuck in a couple of piece of veggie n chicken....it has been so hard. I guess I am looking for more encouragement as well as ideas of how to spice up these slim fast drinks as well as what else I can do for the liquid n then what have others done for the post op meals etc...I need ideas n suggestions......PLEASE HELP!

well the trouble is I am kind of getting tired of the slimfast drinks I had started drinking them a little before the pre-op not all day but replacing some of my meals. The taste is somewhat getting to me and I am doing vanilla n strawberry due to I cant stand the chocolate flavor. Besides the slimfast what else can I have??? Such as the broth what do you do for the broth...I am just kind of confused and I just started on Friday and I am still feeling hungary...need to get this going as my surgery date is scheduled for the 25th....DO NOT WANT TO BE TURNED AROUND N SENT BACK HOME....

Thnxs so much for the recipe..it seems that this should help...I was just gonna throw some boullion cubs in a pot of boiling water and use that...didnt know if that would work but ur recipe sounds so much better!!

Hello All, I am in Berrwyn southwest suburb of Chicago. I am in my pre-op stage scheduled for surgery on 9/25 @ Mercy Hospita...very nervous and having lots of trouble with this liquid diet...I can use any suggestions on how to get thru this and what has everyone or anyone done as far as the broth?? Please Help...I am so anxious to get thru this and start losing weight!!!! By the way Congrats to EVERYONE!! and keep me in mind as well for any group get togethers or support!
