Funny how you are asked for your lapband story and when I ask myself this I really think how did I get here? My story starts as with everyone else with looking in the mirror and not recognizing the person staring back... so you stop looking in the mirror as much as possible. I have tried most diets with limited success and found most of my weight gain post birth of each of my children, not pregnancy weight. Also I am a night shift hospital patient care provider which of course is the worst on any metabolism.   I am looking forward to setting a better example for my daughters for their lives to be healthier and for them to have a mother that loves herself again and therefore teaches them to love themselves too.
