I have been overweight almost all my life. I decided to have the lapband done and went to a session to find out more about it. I decided to go ahead with it and am now going to have the surgery in two more days. I have been on the shakes and am anxiously looking forward to the surgery and changing my whole life. I am going to have the surgery on the same day as my daughter. She is also having the surgery. I told her that if she wants to lose weight and get back in shape to do it NOW, not wait another 30 years after having children, like I did. I first was going to have the surgery 3 weeks ago, but developed bronchitis and could not have it. In the meantime my daughter got her date. When I called back and asked for the first available date to have the surgery, they had an opening on the same day as my daughter's date. I look forward to having a chance to go through the experience with my daughter. We have both been on the shakes and have shared a lot already. It is a good thing to go through the experience with somebody and gets tips rather than going through it alone.  I have many friends that have had the surgery and all have had good results.I wish everyone well in their attempts at weight loss!
