  4. Thank you for the message back!! As others have said on your blogs, you are very moving and it is so great that you make it a point to touch everyone that contacts you! Im am not going to give up and am heading out for a walk/jog after i write this. But i am at 7.5cc in a 10cc band i do not have much restriction and everything goes down. I just wish it did help alittle more, the over eating is how i became over weight. Its very difficult knowing i had the surgery and still seeing myself heavy. Breakfast is usually a protein shake (not a big BF person) snack is usually yogurt, fruit, handful of nuts. Lunch is 1/2cup or a little more of protein, chicken, and a fruit dinner is usually fish, chicken, burger(once in a while no roll) no bread hardly ever. with dinner i try to do a veggie usually salad, but i need to slow down on the dressings. Now i need to lose the icecream or cookies after dinner and add exercise..i hope all is well with you! It means alot that you lend a helping hand!

  5. Hi, Im not sure how long ago you posted, but what was your success at losing 100lbs i have a 10cc band and am at 7.5 and still have a huge appetite

    I'm here to help...

I need help! I was banded Jan 2010. It has been 8 months and i have lost 47lbs!!! Not happy because that weight came off the first 2 months after surgery since April i have not lost a pound. Its very difficult for me not to have a few drinks on the weekends, even beer. Its also very hard for me to stay away from sweets. I dont know what to do!!! I wanted to try and become pregnant by january, but my weight is not dropping due to my lack of control.
  7. You look great! Its great to hear how some people do so well with the surgery. I am struggling.... i was wondering if you could send a sample of what you are eating to keep the weightloss going. My email is rachels0678@aol.com.

    Any January 2010 Bandsters????

txprincess, thanks for chatting. My problem is at night too. For breakfast i usually have a protein shake, or hard boiled egg with fruit, snack is usually yogurt, lunch is always a protein, usually chicken, and i try to get in a veggie. Dinner varies i do a lot of grilled chicken, and fish. Sweets is my problem and the drinking on the weekend. I will still devour a piece or cake or a couple brownies with milk, then lay in bed in agony. My husband asks why i do that to myself....and i have no good answer. I really thought i would do well with this, and it is very frustrating. If you ever want to talk more about things or how a day went my email is rachels0678@aol.com. Maybe we can compare things and work together:) Im trying to keep my head up and so far today hasnt been so bad....

    Any January 2010 Bandsters????

I had just recently posted and i do realize my no weight loss is coming from sabotaging myself. My husband and i have always been weekend drinkers. We have no children yet so we still like to go out more than we should. I had stop drinking for about two months after surgery 1/2010 and lost 28 pounds right off the bat. After that I went back to having a few drinks to now being about to drink beer. I am very careful, but i know the carbonation can possibly stretch the pouch. I am also able to eat whatever i like. Today was a bad day and dinner was 2 pieces of pizza and a garlic roll. This is hard for me, because i have no self control when it comes to what to eat. At surgery I was 273 now i am 226, so... its going but i beat myself up for how i eat. This is how i got heavy in the first place so im constantly asking myself how lapband is really suppose to help when you have a food addiction. All the dieting ive done, was very similar to the lapband....watch what you eat, and exercise......uggghhh well tomorrow i am going to try to get back on track i would really love to lose 10 lbs by the end of August! Thank you all so much for the support and listening. This is a great website to let feelings out and get responses from people who feel the same or can give helpful advise.
