  1. Hey ladies. Unfortunately my cup size hasn't changed. I would love to be a C cup. I was a 42DDD and now I'm a 38DDD. I have 26.2lbs to go and don't think I'll lose the boobs!!! My husband will be happy though!!!:party:

    Sherri~I am banded and I occasionally feel nautious and have weekly bouts of vomiting. It does get better. I have to pay close attention to what I eat. Sometimes the vomiting is because I didn't chew properly. Other times it's because I ate one dang bite too many. I can eat about a cup with no probs. I need to cut some carbs and eat softer foods though. Otherwise, I'm doing well. I am still happy with my band and loving the new body..... Lots of luv.... How is everyone? Hope all are well............

    Riley-Hey lady. How are you? It's good to hear from you. YOu are my inspiration. I need to see you. It's funny how everyone is different. I totally agree with you Riley I have to eat salad first to fill the bottom pit. Then add my protein. I love salad and find that it keeps me satisfied. I eat lots of salads with a variety of protein atop. ie. chicken, salmon, shrimp. I also find that I need to eat at least 1000-1200 calories a day to lose. I can't lose eating less than 1000. My body goes into starvation mode and holds on to the weight. I also have to drink lots of water. What does your September look like. I would like to schedule a walk early. So that we can plan to get together... Ashley-you go gurl. The pics look fab. Candra, Jess???? Where are you ladies? Are you logging on/in???? Miss you! MuuuaaaaHHH!!!!!!
  7. Sparkle, I am right there with you. I had minimal restriction up until my last fill. It was June 18th. I now have 6cc's in my 10cc band. I have been getting lots stuck. Even scrambled eggs if cooked too well. I thought it was too much at first but am now learning that I just need to plan, measure and eat the right foods. I do notice that I am more tight after PB'ing or vomiting. That will happen when I don't measure and eat too much or I don't chew well enough. I have to be more careful and follow the rules.....

    Hi Jess!!! Good to hear from ya. I know... so much has been going on. I can't keep up either. Many people are planning to go to the Kaiser West Point support meeting next Sat, July 24th and lunch at Mimi's afterwards. I am planning to go...God willing. Me too on the eating...I did get a fill June 18th and have real good restriction...I just can't seem to eat the right combo to assist with the weightloss....I have to do better too. TTYL....

    Hi All, Glad to see we are all on track and in route somewhere!!! Lee, unfortunately....I am unable to do the pool party because I have my two little ones. My youngest is to much to bring to the pool....Let alone to someone's house for the first time meeting them...Lol. Surely, we'd get kicked out.... LMBO. I will try to make the next restaurant outing...alone Donna-Thanks for the words of encouragement...Yes, I am so jealous....Don't tell Ashley...SHHHHHhhhhh. J/K.... I'm happy for all. Hope all are well and enjoying/hating the heat....try to keep cool and stay hydrated...

    Hey skinny peeps! Go Ashley!!! OMG!!! 194lbs!!!! Yeaaaaahhhhh! I'm kinda sorta stuck at 190lbs. I'm not albe to exercise yet. Maybe next week I'll make m way bace to the gym in the mornings. Friday, my official summer vacation begins. Ash-what r u doing Wednesday? We should have lunch.

    Hi. I'm not sure if there is a time frame but. I had my last c-section 8/26/08 and my band placed on 10/20/09... a year and 2 months later. It took me that long to get to my surgery goal weight. I'm sure I would have do so sooner without incidence. I would think that once your body healed... You should be okay....It's a totally different area.

    Good Morning All. Becca-Don't be nervous. Its a piece of cake. Just be yourself....Just don't reveal the voices in your head. LOL. Seriously, it's nothing. They just want to make sure you aren't seeking surgury for the wrong reasons and that you don't have a current serious issue or negative relationship with food, i.e. bullimia/anorexicia... You'll do fine and look back and wonder why you were ever nervous. Hope all are well.... Okay so, I have made a revelation. Remember when I said my band was maybe too tight? Well, I have discovered first hand that PB'ing does make the band tighter. I have not had an episode since Saturday (last week) and the band feels looser and I'm able to eat a tiny bit of bread. Not that we should but... I totally avoided bread for 6 days and ate right and minimal carbs.... I have not gotten anything stuck and tried to drink 64+ ozs. of water daily..... I have lost the 2-3lbs I gained and am now back to 191.2lbs on home scale this AM. I can't wait to break into the 180's....Hopefully I can get there by next week. I just ate lunch like a normal person. Here's what I ate:..... 2 slices bacon 1/2 slice french toast with a minute bit of syrup a few bites of scramples egg and tasted some grits. While I don't feel full....I am satisfied. I have also been cleared to resume walking outside. Just not on the treadmill. In case I need to stop abruptly. I may try water aerobics on Monday... Happy Friday.... TTYL..............

    Ash-not this weekend. We are busy too... Two bday parties. I was talking about next weekend, 7/17-718. I'm much better. The dr said I can walk outside slowly... Not on the treadmill yet. I'll call ya.

    Hi Everyone! I don't remember much either. I do remember walking to do the barium swallow. Yuck! I sure wish I could forget that awful stuff. I am still here and had a pretty good 4th of July. I did not overeat. I really think I have met my sweet spot. I can not eat more than 1 cup.....Well, it depends on what it is. Isn't it funny how many of us can't eat bread or gummy and dry food when protein and chips/snack foods go down perfectly fine. Why is that??? I ate my share of chocolate chip w/ pecan cookies...... I am now trying to get back on track. Lee-Yea on the 189lbs.... I am so happy for you. You have totally passed me up. I probably won't recognize you anymore! You are withering away. I know you need all new clothes.... Tamra-I'm right here with you. I am so tired of playing with the same dang lbs.... I hope I can re-focus lose some more. I think I'm at the sweet spot. At first, I thought I was too tight...Naw.... I'm not too tight. I just need to eat the correct foods and measure... With that said...I am back to basics and started measuring everything yesterday. I am sick and tired of getting things stuck in my throat. It hurts so bad. I did extremely well yesterday and today.... I hope all are well...TTyL...............

    Haloy 4th if July!!! May you enjoy yourselves and not eat too much! Thanks for all the well wishes! I so want to walk on the treadmill! Can't tho! May cause pain!!! I'm am doing better! I have therapy tomorrow and hope to go get a massage afterwards!!! Anyone want to go??? I just made some baked bean with ground turkey. I do plan to have some.... Hoping not to over eat today!!!! Lol TTYL... Have a great day!

    Hello Everyone!!!! April-Glad you posted your story for all to know exactly what you are going through. I'll be praying for you.... Okay so, I injured my achillies tendon on Tuesday!!!! I am in so much pain. I did it walking/jogging on the treadmill at the gym. I have been going to the gym everyday. I have 5 out of 7 days in my pedometer where I have walked over 12,000 steps. I was feeling pretty damn proud of myself. I have never worked-out so much in my life. I did take a rest yesterday thinking it would be okay and that I just needed to stay off of it. Well,.... I went back to the gym today and hit my ALL TIME record of 5.30 miles...I was on the treadmill for 80 minutes... I did a combination of walking and jogging. I was feeling myself..... Then, I got off and sat in the sauna for 20 minutes. When I went to stand...I almost fell. I was in so much pain. I came home and iced it and later called my chiropracter's office for an immediate visit. I went in and had it examined. He did this stimulator thingy, an ultrasound, laser therapy and then a minipulation massage that I must say....hurt like hell. Hopefully, after a few weeks of treatment and rest...it heals on its own. If it doesn't improve, he said I will need a MRI to make sure it isn't torn. If it is torn, it may self-repair or even worse...it may need surgery. The whole time I'm thinking past the pain...thinking, "Now how am I going to exercise and lose these stubborn pounds????" I know...I need to focus on rehab. I am just so motivated to exercise right now I can't afford to lose my momentum.... I hope all are well.....
