My name is Ana I’m 20 years old and I’ve been obese as long as I can remember. I have tried many different ways to lose weight and this is my last option to do so. As a child I packed on the weight I’ve never been thin and most of my life I thought this is how we are suppose to live. At the age of 12 I weighed 236 pounds. The only way I was able to lose any weight was by starving myself the lowest weight I down to was 190 pounds I was 16 years old. Now at the age of 20 I am now 267 pounds and no matter what diet I try or any magic diet pills it don’t work. I realize I could do so much more with my life that someday I want to have kids and go to college and actually live that why I am in the process of getting the surgery. I’ve come here to prepare for my surgery (no date has been set yet) and to see what I will have to endure before and after. So any advice or encouraging words would be really appreciated thank you!
