9/14/09 - I attended the orientation the end of May.  After hearing all the risks, I got scared and did not go back.  Now it is 4 months later.  I started lifting weights and had lost 20 pounds.  However, I lost motivation during a period of sickness and now have gained back 5 pounds.  Not to with myself.  My family is against any type of barriatric surgery.  I've decided to have Lap Band though.  I need help with my weightloss.  So, I've called them again and am scheduled for the next appointment this coming Wednesday.  I've asked my husband to go to the appointments with me so that he will have an understanding too.  He is supportive.  I'm scared.  But I'm doing it anyway.  Someone once told me that courage is not being fearless, it's having the fear and doing it anyway!
