I’m a 38 year old Virginia mom of 3, 2 girls and an 18 year old son who just left for college.  I have been over weight for awhile and have tried everything. Now my inability to stay focused has now started to affect my middle daughter.  I can remember when I was an outgoing person who enjoyed life an d being around friends and family, but now I prefer to be in the house alone since I gained the weight . I’m embarrassed to go out with my husband as I’m not the person he met many years ago. He does not complain or even mention the difference and always tells me that he loves me regardless. My work performance has also been affected as I’m not as confident as I have been in the past and I see it every time I have to give a presentation.  My health is beginning to show the wear and tear of this extra weight hypertension, sleep apnea and tons of aches and pains.
