When I eat breakfast out I order sausage and an egg. At home I have been making egg bites. they are on the worldaccordingtoeggface web site. They are easy to make and I can eat them all week for breakfast or snack. My fav. is sundried tomato, basil and mozzarella or sharp white cheddar cheese.. I do ham and cheese too. I make bacon and cheese for my family as I don't like bacon. YUM!! Julie

Since surgery I have taken a magnisium vitamin everyday and go like clockwork..every morning. One small pill a day they are 250 mg. Worth a try once you get things moving! Julie -

I don't see how that is possible.. this surgery has been used for years with people that have had stomach cancer... It's not new by any means! Julie

Has Anyone Not Lost Hair Post Op?

I will bee 5 months out April 10th and so far no hair loss. I get 75-100 grm. protein a day and take zinc and biotin daily. I am hoping I have gotten past when it falls out. I am a haordresser and can get all the fancy shampoos etc.. But hear they really don't work. I know the biotin has mad my hair grow faster..if nothing else. Julie -

When I had my surgery with Dr. Kelly he was revising someone from the gastric bypass with the band to a sleeve. She rode in the van with me. She said Dr. Kelly is the only one she trusted.. My sleeve surgery with Dr. Kelly was awesome. He is highly skilled at the sleeve.. Julie -

I had hunger from the time I stopped throwing up in the hosp. Not all of us lose or hunger signal. I have been on a PPI and I know mine is not acid... I am satisfied with much less food and you won't feel that until you start eating more solid food. Hang in there.. Julie -

I only threw up in the hosp. right after surgery. which was probably the anithesia and pain meds for me. I am very sensitive. The only other time was when I took vitamins on an empty stomach.. Highly don't recommed it.. I tend to eat fast , bad habit and never gets foamies, slimies or throw up..just lucky I guess.. Julie -

I just did this also. I was stuck for almost 5 weeks at the same weight. Upped my calories and carbs and have lost almost 5 pounds just that... I will go back down in carbs again, but I think it is good to keep our bodies guessing.. Finally got out of the 220's!! Julie -

I had my gall bladder out the same time as my sleeve. It was the easiest surgery I have ever had. I have had my appendix out and an ovarian cyst removed before, but they were open surgeries. With my sleeve I was back to work 7 days after surgery. I am a hairdresser and on my feet all day. Julie -

Thanks sleeve of steel for posting this. I have been the same weight within 1 pound for a month. I am really thinking I am not getting enough calories. How can I be eating under 800 a day and NOT be losing??? Frustrated and trying to figure it out. Julie
