I have been thinking about the lap band since last fall and have been dragging my feet and my finances did not fall like I had hoped they would. I have done the 3 month supervised diet and things are now falling into place!! Finally--I have the appt for the mental health consult Monday the 8th of March so I am moving forward. I hope to have my surgery scheduled sometime in May. What made my final decision I visited with a friend who is an RN, she had it done Feb 1 and has lost 19 lbs so far! She said she would definately tell me to GO FOT IT!!! So I am following her advise--wish me luck!!
